His bio profile from the official NXT site is gone and his last tweet, from 24 hours ago now, is -
Solomon Crowe ‏@WWECrowe 23h23 hours ago

and the earth stood still.......
Could be a repackage I guess, but doesn't look good for Crowe fans.

Great news if true. No need to waste a roster slot on him unless he intends to replace CJ Parker as the resident jobber.

For what it's worth, WWE NXT Superstar Solomon Crowe has had his profile removed from the official WWE roster page on the WWE website.

According to Google's Cached View, the profile was still live as of Survivor Series Sunday.

There has been no indication that Crowe was released but he tweeted the following on Monday afternoon

I like him too and actually find him to be a kindred spirit due to him going from a blubbery man-ball to the lean, mean (Callihan) death machine we've come to know.

That being said, while the cards are not in his favor due to other indy stars having eclipsed him (Balor, Owens, Itami, Crews and even Joe) and homegrown NXT talents putting out great work and earning their TV time (The Realest Guys in the Room, Gable and Jordan and The Vaudevillians), I still think he could be something solid in NXT if the opportunity presents itself.

Its a shame because he just hasnt been fitting in the mold in WWE. I did actually expect some good things from him when he came in... very disappointed and at the same time happy as we can get someone else in that spot to fill the void. Although I hope he does well elsewhere. Man could probably find himself in another promotion the ways Morrison and McIntyre have in other promotions.

I think so too since he was doing pretty well for himself before he got signed. He could get released today and would be able to get bookings for shows this weekend (OK maybe next weekend since I don't know how many shows there are over Thanksgiving weekend). He was main eventing matches in PWG before he left, Evolve was booking him and would do it again in a heartbeat, and since he pretty much started in CZW they would be thrilled to have back anyway. And then there is always a decent chance that a bigger company would sign him. He will do just fine if he gets released. Oh, and he has a pretty easy paycheck coming with whatever company he does a shoot interview with after his release as well.

NXT hasn't been going all that well for him. He's really talented and I've seen him have a lot of great matches before he got signed. It just hasn't translated well for him. I have no idea why but I do know that he is really talented. There aren't many guys that I've seen wrestle in person more times than him and a lot of those matches I was in the front row. In a small venue what he does works.

I thought they'd already done their releases for this year? Seems odd, maybe he asked to be released from his contract? Unless there's another cull on the way, in which case, for the love of god, someone fire Mojo, please?

For once I have to agree with this sentiment, although I do like my fair share of overhyped indy schmucks, I have never been able to understand or see what anyone that likes about the back fat. Or Crowe whatever.

When he joined NXT I heard how awesome he is, charismatic, great on the mic, people were comparing him with Ambrose etc. etc. and... I'm disappointed.

He didn't show anything that would impress me.
And that's saying something being a Trent Barreta fan :takerlel

He should have been on the main roster a year ago. This company has gone mad. The guy can actually cut a promo and work a match. I don't expect half of the neck beards around here to understand that though.
Wait now I'm confused, because I thought a "neckbeard" was someone that was a fan of indy darlings, which is what Crowe was...So wouldn't that make you the "neckbeard?"

God what a stupid fucking word.

I don't watch much wrestling outside of WWE these days, but the indy guys who get a lot of hype from the internet coming in are usually pretty damn good. This is an exception.

This guy has shown me absolutely zero talent in NXT. Normally, I would be in favor of a repackage, but he's so fucking bad why should they even bother? Give the spot to someone else.

May have asked for his release himself. We'll see I guess.

I was surprised they signed him. I was a big fan of what I had seen prior to his signing, but I just couldn't see him in WWE. Even when I did, on NXT, he didn't seem to fit.

Strange though, he wasn't really given a chance. Did he have an injury at some point?

Hopefully he hasn't been let go and he is being given something new.

From pics taken at recent house hows, he seemed to have got rid of the singlet and was wrestling in some sort of buttoned up red jacket without the sleeves. Looked a lot better than the singlet.

As for Crowe being released, it's a shame because he never got to shine due to all the other guys being there like balor, owens, corbin and they nailed their characters from day one. Whereas Crowe has needed a lot of time to fit in.

I was hoping that they'd find a place for him as a solid mid-carder once Balor, Joe, etc...had been moved up to the main event. Would have liked to see him in feuds with guys like corbin or crews. Maybe WWE looked at all their recent signings, their upcoming homegrown talent and potential indie signings they may have incoming and thought there was no place for him.

Shame to see him go. I was never expecting him to be WWE champion, but thought he could have been a solid US/IC contender for a few years in WWE.
