Dana Brooke is improving at such an exponential rate and looking better and better every week. Decent promo and decent match this week. Keep it goin' gal!

One thing - am I right or am I nitpicking? I mean her finisher didn't look good again. She needs to pull that shit off with more impact.

It doesn't matter, NXT SHOULD be all about progress and she's showing me it. Small steps forward. :draper2

She looked good in her match this week, I liked her little "break you" thing she did before the match started. Her voice goes through me though, but then I'm not meant to like her, so I can't really complain about that. Yes, she's doing alright.

Here Promos have improved significantly and I love how she uses Taylor in them. Just needs to get her eyes off more from the card boards.

Wrestling skills, she's definitely the one after Emma to challenge for the Title.

and did I mention how beautiful she is? Yes, she is beautiful and hot.

I don't know what it is about Dana Brooke. I should hate her with the intensity of a thousand Suns, but I don't. And that was before the promo she cut this week.

I can't quite put my finger on why it is I like her... and frankly, it's annoying me.

I know, right?

I expected a shitstorm here and about 20 neg comments, pleasantly surprised.

"Exponential" is highly exaggerated. A Kurt Angle would be a guy that exponentially improved in his rookie year (to he point that he was good in a matter of weeks of starting). Chad Gable would be another example, only 18 months in wrestling and he's already damn good at all necessary aspects.
She gets better every time she wrestles, but it's at a normal pace I'd expect. She's still at least a year out from being ready for any kind of major match.

She is definitely getting better. She has a character and she plays it up and I appreciate that.

But, I wish she would play her character even more. She comes off as a narcissistic female bodybuilder. She flexes every five seconds. If you're gonna do that, play that up. Do more power moves that shows how strong you are. Show vain you are and how in love with yourself you are.

That's what I would like to see.

I think people sometimes forget that of all the girls on tv right now she has the least training so for a chick that has only been wrestling a little over a year I would say her improvement has been "exponential". As far as how her finisher looks she can't really pull it off against girls taller than her and since she's not exactly a tower she should scrap it; give it to Nia Jax.

I also love the "break my toys" thing but if she's the killer Barbie does that mean she's going to eventually break herself? :surprise:

My issue here is the exaggeration of her skill. Do you not think it's a problem too? People stating Dana is good at the same time they say Sasha is great. The difference in their ability is immense; a lot more than the difference between good and great. People have a lowered expectation for women in NXT and it's ridiculous. Corbin put on an alright match, more passable than anything Dana has done in the ring, with Joe at TakeOver, yet Dana is the one getting props for NOT breaking someones bones in the ring.

she has the character down really well. i really want to see her in a long match as in a takeover match instead of the tv stuff where its over and done with in 3 minutes (this is why i am amazed they brought back sasha) when half a dozen other girls could have benefited from that match against bayley..you only improve like sasha and charlotte did by working long matches

she can be the top girl on nxt once bayley leaves but seriously wwe don't ever dress her up again like you did in brooklyn :D

I get that we're not supposed to like her, but she's still getting X-Pac heat from me more than anything. Her promos are still flat, and she's improving in the ring but still has a long ways to go to be ready for anything more high profile than tune-up matches on the weekly show.

I continue to be bewildered that there are people on this board who find her attractive somehow, but that's neither here nor there. She's still a work in progress, and her showing steady improvement is good. That's what you want to see. But even with relatively weak depth in the women's division at the moment, she's still not ready for a title feud. She's maybe halfway to where she needs to be. Again, though, at least she's improving.

She has not changed at all. I see no improvement other then a few more moves and cleaner execution. She is still mediocre at best. Where as Eva Marie has drastically improved. She went from not being able to know a single move or how to sell, to a pretty decent wrestler.

Oh ok, Dana is mediocre and Eva is decent. I heard it all.
