What Can Be Done With Solomon Crowe?

Ok, whenever you hear the name Solomon Crowe, he's basically panned. And I get why. He was a big name from the independents. It took him 2 years to even get on the show. He debuted as a Hacker, that didn't work (basically because they never did anything with the gimmick besides his entrance). I think recently he was the "Little Monster." That's been a flop. Again, he's been a flop. But I never hear anyone suggesting what they can do to fix the problem.

First off, I know a lot of people were hyping this guy up big from his time in the indies. I can't really speak for that since I can't say I watched the indies that much. So maybe it's unfair when I say this, I never took him that seriously. Mainly due to his look. I'm not saying he shouldn't be in WWE. But I just can't see him as a big player in WWE. But that doesn't mean he couldn't have a good role here.

I don't take his look seriously for a big player. But, I do like his unique look. I also think he cuts a pretty good promo. I really think where he would fit best would be as stable leader or a manger. On his own in WWE, I think he's destined to fail. But put him around some compatible parts, I think we have something. Take Marcus Louis for example. A character with an interesting backstory but no direction. Put a mouthpiece beside him and think we have something.

I could see him leading his own version of the Wyatt Family. Put him around some bigger guys that can do the heavy lifting while he works he mic.

That's what I would do with him. What would you? Even if you think he's a lost cause, at least try go give a suggestion.

Some guys no matter how much hype they had on the indies, they just can't connect with the Full Sail crowd. This exact situation happened with Chris hero/Kassious Ohno, except I think Chris Hero actually got a good amount of matches with time to really get the crowd behind him but the crowd was indifferent to him. Even to some degree, Hideo Itami falls into the category of someone with a lot of hype and the NXT crowd just chants his name to be polite, but Hideo is not really over like Sami Zayn or Sasha Banks. To be fair, Solomon Crowe has not had that many matches (maybe 5 or 6 matches?) or been given a real push, so I'd cut him a break. Crowe is still only 27 years old, it's still too early to tell if he's a goner, but yeah, his current situation is pretty grim.

I'd like to see Crowe work as a heel and be given more than 5 minutes to tell a story in the ring and if he can't get over being a heel and more time in the ring, then they really should just get rid of him.

Turn him heel and put him with Corbin. Crowe can be the workhorse of the team, Corbin can look impressive, and the pair can cover each other's weaknesses.

1) Don't have a stupid look
2) Don't use that springboard headbutt or whatever this is as your finisher ( or maybe he changed it recently )
3) Don't do stupid faces

Then... I think you can something with him. Not bad on the mic, not bad on the ring, there is potential.

In fact, I would like that hacker gimmick to come back, someone trying to screw with the NXT show, your typical " anti-system " guy and he could use that to screw with his opponents in rivalries. And for his promos, what about doing promos like The Joker did in " The Dark Knight " with a camera

fpalm I don't know

- Call him up to RAW to help out Ambrose & Reigns only to turn on them and join The Wyatts

- Go back to the hacker character and turn him heel (Itami's attacker?)

- Manage The Ascension similar to how Xavier Woods does for The New Day

- Release him so I can see him in PWG again

I'd suggest making him similar to Ambrose but people would be so strongly against it, despite it making a LOT of sense.

NXT is fine with working off of things that happened on the indies. See Owens/Zayn being rushed, Joe/Owens (which never happened, exactly why they did it) being teased, etc. So why not just rename Crowe something less edgy and more normal but still kinda different, like Dean Ambrose, and make him similar to Ambrose. Hell, give him a pseudo-hardcore gimmick where he actually uses, or tries to use, weapons on a regular basis. Why not?

What the hell else can he do? He really can't do much more with the way he looks or the way he has acted throughout his indies. I could see him being a Raven type character, trying hard to be 'dark' and mopey, then if that doesn't work too well they could go the comedic route.

This is what I would like to see most of all. He can work the mic and has kind of a darker look. A new age Raven would be great for him.

Very simple: FUCKING TURN HIM HEEL AND MAKE HIM A PSYCHOPATHIC BADASS. You know, like what made him get so hyped in the first place?!

He was previously known as Sami Callihan in the indies, and at least back in 2012, he was one of the BITW easily. His mannerisms and his aggressive style made him an easy mesh w/anybody. Watch his matches w/the likes of Finlay, Samuray Del Sol (Kalisto) or El Generico (Sami Zayn) if you don't believe me. The gimmicks and the "experiences" that the writers are giving him don't work tbh. He needs to turn heel asap, and become a lunatic bastard who will go to the extra mile to inflict pain and suffering on his opponents - kinda like an evil version of Dean Ambrose, only give him a very rude sense of humor and total ruthless aggression for him to start being taken seriously. For all the praises I sing to NXT, I give them shit for not tapping Crowe's potential, and w/Owens' nearby departure, they're gonna be needing a top heel soon - and I suppose they won't wanna turn Itami whenever he comes back (who, again, works much better as a heel), so do it for Crowe and watch him shine.

^ This just happened tonight. It appears they're pairing Solomon Crowe with Zahra(Seth Rollins girlfriend). This is great news. Not sure if he'll be a heel and she'll help him steal wins by cheating, but I'd be okay with that. Apparently she cut a promo and said she was Solomon Crowe's little sister....

Credit to NXT and Zachary_Dewitt on Twitter for the photos.

I don't know if WWE will fire her for pictures taken in 2012. It's not like she agrees with Nazism or said she did, it's just a photo. The second picture with the my little pony is a bit more interesting because in the comments section she agrees with a person about "believing what she believes in and not imposing it on others", that could certainly be interpreted that Zahra believes in Nazism or just believing in whatever and not imposing it on others. I don't know, I don't see this as a big deal. I really hope these old photos don't get her fired because I really do think she could help Crowe's character.

He's only 28 years old (well, he will be on Tuesday), he have a lot of time. Potential is there and it's like we are going to get...

Führer Crowe! :vince3

If so, Apollo is fucked.

Crowe gets a serious pop at live shows and his style is very effective there. At this stage I don't know if his inability to get over on tv is due to the booking or because his style just doesn't work on a tv screen. If they put on a Crowe/Crews match, that would be a way to work out what is happening and what can be done to adjust his style for tv if necessary

As far as gimmicks go, he has an unconventional look so it would work with an outside-the-system rebel character. The hacker thing needed to be given some chance. At bigger shows that gives a lot of potential for playing around with lighting, titantrons at unexpected moments or to give a great entrance. The Zahra connection is also a good one and could become a relatively complex (and interesting) character if they blended these together. He needed to put more effort into playing it properly too.
