According to The Wrestling Observer, William Regal and Seth Rollins were at last week's PWG show in Reseda, California to scout talent. They were reportedly impressed with AAA star Angelico, who is currently under a multi-year deal with Lucha Underground, if they continue running, and has a deal with AAA.
For those wondering, the PWG match was Young Bucks vs. Angelico & Jack Evans.

Not surprising, he is one hell of a talent. Hopefully he stays away from WWE though, cause they would cut his move set down to nothing.

Pretty much this.

I don't think WWE as it is now even deserves someone like Angelico it first place. Even if he did end up signing with them, they would just water his moveset down tremendously. Rollins, the current champ himself, is a great example when it comes to this.

He's great on LU, but i think he could be amazing in NXT as well. Don't get me wrong though, i love LU as much as anybody here, but LU's future is up in the air right now and unless a huge outside budget comes to El Rey network, they won't get renewed for a second season. If they don't get a second season, they would lose a lot of the talent in there.

He's better than Gabriel ever was too, so i wouldn't worry about him if he does decide to sign with WWE.

He's not available any time soon due to contracts. I don't get why WWE scouts would go to this show and come away wanting someone who would not be available over many others on the show who are good and would be available. I also don't get why they would want someone with duel contracts yet all the best known Indy names from the last tryout camp who are actually available were not signed.

Not surprised they'd be impressed, the guy is a great talent, but if Angelico coming to NXT depends entirely on Lucha Underground not having a second season, then I hope he doesn't come to NXT. What a shame it would be if we only got One season of that awesome show.

He has the look to fit in with WWE very well. Hes one of my favorites to watch right now. If I had a choice I'd rather watch him in LU though. I fear what WWE will do with him.

Angelico has great psychology, is an amazing high flyier and for the fans of LU, he is an amazing mat wrestler. The guy was trained by Ultimo Dragon, Black Terry and ***** Navarro, he is actually one of the most complete wrestlers in AAA IMO.

WWE literally dont have enough "talent to book this amazing "talent" (Way better than Rollins IMO)

Whilst they would no doubt lose the crazy dives, the guy still has a really unique striking moveset which I see no reason he couldn't keep....

Also, in Rollins case of watering down remember being a heel goes a long way to that as well. Hell, we have barely seen Rollins in singles as a face since he joined the main roster.

It won't be his ROH moveset ofcourse but it will expand a lot when he turns.
