I'm really intrigued by some of the talent that hasn't reached our televisions just yet. I like the fact that the WWE has talent that is taking the time to develop without having to be seen on television in front of crowd of fans. There is something about all this unseen talent that reminds me of the old days of wrestling, pre internet era. Where fans knew very little about what was going on behind the scenes and with the business in general. I get the same vibe of "not knowing" from this whole NXT Developmental process. I'm glad the WWE has evolved with this process for NXT. I'm glad the WWE has a thing for Indy talents whom are popular enough to keep the show relevant. This allows for the Developmental talent to develop. They have a great "farm system" going right now and I can't wait to see more of that talent.
Dylan Mile
I'm sure I am not the only one here to suggest this guy. I hope he doesn't debut with the all red attire like I have seen in the past. This makes him look very bland. I have heard plenty of things about this young man and I can't wait to see what he has to offer. He has the look down and I don't mean that in a good way. He isn't pretty. However, he looks like he belongs in the business. Apparently he has mic skills and charisma. I guess all of the early talk about him have pretty much drawn me in to suggest his name as someone I want to see in NXT out of developmental. Who gets to "Walk the Mile"? He is the kind of guy I could get behind and watch him build a streak and go undefeated in NXT.
He's been talked about by the likes of HHH and Sasha Banks, saying how much potential he has.
I didn't see him work at Axxess, he must have been at one of the 2 sessions I didn't attend, but he's still very green.
He has similarities to Bruno and looks like an old school guy, which I think is great and I hope the fans don't crap over him because of it.
Another one is Zahra Schrieber. She looks like a badass and she was trained by Jimmy Jacobs before WWE, so she's got the talent there. She could be a top star
Wow, that Hugo Knox kid has a damn good look n/h. He looks like the star of a "Never Back Down" sequel.
I want to see anybody from the performance center on tv; literally anybody. I love prospects but I might be biased toward Nhooph Al-Areebi. I definitely want to see Devin Taylor beat the brakes off Dana's bitch ass, whom I hate(love). I want to see what the Chad Gable hype is about.
Samson has actually been on the show the past few weeks teaming with Mike Rallis. I'd love to see both guys get more TV time though. Not just matches, but promo time and some character development. I'd love to see more done with Dillinger too.
In terms of non-televised talent, now that she's doing house shows, I'm curious to see Gionna wrestling on TV. They've got a guy Josh Woods doing a rich snob gimmick under the name Preston Cunningham Jr, I'd love to see him on TV as well.
Zahra Schrieber & Gionna Daddio for me.
Gionna just debuted at live events so we will probably see her in a few months but Zahra broke her collarbone or injured her rotator cuff so we wont see her for a while unless they debut her as a valet for Baron Corbin like was rumored.
Definitely Braun Stowman and Dylan Mile. Baron Corbin is a bust and we need as many big man/monster wrestlers as we can get. Mile has already been hyped up by Sasha Banks,Kevin Owens, HHH and Brock lesnar. Those are some big endorsements. They're not going to put Miley on NXT TV until he's ready. They took forever with Rusev and it's paid off.
Would love to see Stowman and Mile as a tag team. I fear that it may lead to lazy booking (squash, squash, squash) but these guys could make it work.
But my vote would be more for Tye Dillinger. I know he has been on TV, but I keep reading about this great Perfect 10 gimmick and I definitely want to see it for myself.
1. Chad Gable. In-ring skills, connection with the audience, great balanced moveset between pro and ammy styles, can talk
2. Braun Stowman. Huge presence, not bad in the ring, can talk. Time in front of an audience is what he needs
3. Zahra Schreiber & Gionna Daddio. Just hot.
4. Uhaa Nation. Everyone knows what he can do.
5. Hugo Knox. Big guy but manages cruiser/almost lucha style moves convincingly and combines them with power moves very well. Very quick learner. Slightly strange gimmick (dangerously close to being hyped) but that can change.
6. Elias Samson. Very sharp in the ring, imaginitive gimmick, great flying knee finisher.
7. Mike Rallis. Just about got enough moves now (quick learner) and charismatic
Some of the trainees I haven't yet seen but look to have a lot of potential: Dylan Miley and Josh Woods. Dillinger has been on tv but not with his current perfect 10 gimmick and needs time on tv to use it. Mechanics need to be on as well - undervalued.
It's a strong group. Knox is injured and will be out for a while but the potential for a Performance Center upper card is there. They are not ready for that yet so I expect some big indy recruitment to continue
Gable (Cablelol) and Jordan will be on TV really soon (and obviously are getting some TV time) so can't really mention them. I can't wait for Gable to debut though. I'm expecting him to impress in his first match (kayfabe and legitimately) given the whole "I'm your perfect tag partner!" schtick.
I've heard people say Dillinger is around as enhancement talent and plays that role perfectly. Not sure if he will ever get a run. What exactly is he doing with this Perfect 10 gimmick?
I can't wait for Dylan Mile to debut. Complete monster.
The perfect 10 has moved him to a kind of judge of the other matches on the card. He awards other matches low marks and 10 for himself. Sounds shit but it does work. I think because he is one of the best workers in the roster, he can get away with it. It lifts his status above enhancement talent
If i had to picks for one to get on tv or start getting big role on NXT
Marcus Louis
Sawyer Fulto
Uhaa Nation
Dylan Miley
Hugo Knox
Braun Stowman)
Levis Valenzuela
Lina
Steve Cutler
non televise =/= stars? So the only stardom they can really have is if they came from another background or made a big name on the indys?
