Triple H not that high on Uhaa Nation?

If you remember back when Itami, Balor and Kevin Steen were signed, it was a HUGE deal. Triple H was practically ecstatic, constantly putting the signings over in twitter, facebook and what not. But Uhaa Nation's sign in comparison went without a whimper. Its almost like Triple H didn't even care, which is a lot similar to how signing of Solomon Crowe happened, and look where he is right now compared to the other 5?

Judging from this tweet and Triple H's general lack of interest, Uhaa seems to be the next Solomon Crowe.

I don't see the tweet as a "general lack of interest" at all.

As a freelancer, Uhaa was a good two or three years away from reaching anywhere close to the hype level Balor or Owens were at pre-WWE, and his body of work is nowhere near Itami's, who was main eventing shows for nearly a decade before signing.

His signing wasn't made into a huge deal because he isn't nearly as big of a name as the other three.

That said, it's pretty clear Triple H knows the guy is ready to be part of the show, considering they started airing vignettes like a week or two after he signed.

I dont see any sources or information that Triple H isnt high on Uhaa Nation, he maked a bigger deal out of Steen, Kenta and Balor because they were more known with the indy crowd. i just started watching indy wrestling and i didnt know was Uhaa before the NXT signing but i did know who Devitt and Steen were. i dont know why you would think hes not high on the guy. he looks like a big guy but moves like small guy which is really impressive

Uhaa was one of like, 12 people announced to be signed at once so it wouldn't be right for HHH to publicly be over the moon about him specifically, because it would put him in an awkward spot IMO. As stated, HHH clearly knows what he has in Uhaa because there are already vignettes airing, which is a huge deal.

At the time, Steen was not given a huge profile by WWE. Nothing like as big as Itami or Balor. There was massive rumor in the IWC about him but a lot less from the company. Steen was also part of the first wave of big indy wrestlers to join NXT and the new direction for the NXT brand so that also generated a lot of interest. With Uhaa Nation, there are guys just as famous, or more famous, already there so less of an impact.
I've no doubt he'll make plenty of imapct when he debuts

I'm not a big indy guy but I was well aware of Itami, Balor, Owens and Zayn pre-NXT. I had heard Uhaa's name mentioned a few times but I've never gotten around to watching any of his matches. I think it was to be expected that HHH would make a huge deal out of Itami, Balor and Owens, since the three of them are among the biggest indy stars, and HHH snapped up the three of them within a short space of time.

I know nothing about Uhaa Nation but I've heard great things. He seems like a nice guy, judging from the video package a few weeks back. I wish him all the best.

Where on earth does it suggest that he isn't high on Uhaa Nation? The guy asked HHH if he thinks he would be a standout and HHH clearly states he wouldn't have signed him if he didn't think he'd be a standout or anyone for that matter. Thread needs to be locked on the account of being stupid

How do you know Crowe is a flop op? Christ he lost a few matches he is very talented but not as big as the nxt 5. Uhaa was vsing the likes of AR fox and was out for a while with injuries. Trust me the guy will be fine

By all accounts he's been signed because he's pretty damn close to a finished article. Hence the swift development of these hype vignettes. It'll be very similar to Balor in that he'll be working on promo development and working to the WWE camera system.

You think that guy who has hype vignettes airing within days of his signing being announced is not someone that Triple H and the rest of the NXT development consortium have high hopes for?
