Ideal feud for Kevin Owens once drafted to the main roster?

First off let me just say that Kevin Owens, in my opinion, is such a fantastic heel with the potential to really make a name for himself in the WWE for years to come, not only does he have a cool, calm persona about him, he often gets you emotionally invested in what he's doing which is nothing but a credit to him, it's rare a talent can do that sometimes though for me when he was throwing the water over Alex Riley I really wanted Riley to punch him one, then I realised 'Hang on a minute, I'm watching wrestling here' ... the last time I remember something like that happening was when Stephanie McMahon was prodding and slapping Big Show in the face, when talents bring this out this is nothing but a huge huge compliment to them, and this is what I credit to Kevin Owens massively, specially for that specific segment.

Now, without confusing people too much, as it is kinda hard to explain but Kevin Owens reminds me of a modern day Bam Bam Bigelow, he's a fairly big guy (not quite as big as Bam Bam I know) but his agility is unreal, and this is something that Bam Bam Bigelow had massively, it took me a long time to pick this up on Bam Bam as he always was just 'there' kinda thing, but when you watch back on him now, the dude was phenomenal, I see the same thing in Kevin Owens, only difference being, it's incredibly apparent to me today, which I may not have noticed in previous years.

He's got a good aura about him too, which will work well in regards to promo's with another talent, and also in regards to riling the other talent so you need to think of how this would also bring out the best in whoever he was to feud with, some of the points you want from the other talent to come out of them are :

1. Good promo chemistry with Kevin.

2. Bringing out there aggressive and frustrations as a character.

3. In ring connection, styles that match and work well.

4. Creativity, lots of things for the talent to get their teeth into (Creative need to feed this of course).

So I was thinking, who do you feel would be suited best for Owens once he hits the main roster, of course, bare in mind by the time Kevin is drafted the roster may have changed a little, however just going by today's roster and in theory, who would you feel Owens would be good in regards to, I feel that Rusev could be one for a start, specially bringing out his frustrations as well as matching in ring agility, I think they could suit quite a bit or maybe even Ryback, but it is something I would like to think about more so before coming to any conclusions as those are just off the top of my head.

So what are your thoughts in regards to this, I'd be interested to hear some vibes form you guys as I do feel that Kevin Owens is a very promising talent indeed.

Names like Rusev, Wyatt and Ryback come to mind. I think he fits well in that group for the time being. Have him establish himself, and in the future, insert him into the World title picture.

It's rare that you see main event talent in wrestlers who are still in development, but if creative get this right, I really think that Owens can have a huge impact when it comes to top tier heels.

Dolph might be the best option i can think of that can get him established rather quickly while not going after a top a guy from the get go. He's ok on the mic while not spectacular and in the ring they should have really good matches.

Ryback is a decent option but i think if you want to get Owens over as a bully early it's better to do that against a guy that is smaller than him (in weight atleast) who can sell well.

I like contrasting styles and matchups, so Bryan, Rollins, Ziggler etc would be ideal. Or just bring Zayn up and have them feud on Raw as well.

Rusev vs Owens, Ryback vs Owens, Sheamus vs Owens would be great hoss fights as well. I also wanna see Cesaro vs Owens once.

- As long as he makes little kids in Cena shirts cry, I don't care ("John, you're my son's favorite. That means I must kill you." :cena)

- Teaming with Ryback to form a bully tag team

- Wouldn't mind him doing an "obsessed fan" feud with The Rock, if possible

- A feud with Bryan about Owens taking the longest out of all the indy stars to get to WWE writes itself

Owens/Orton would be a good feud to start him off with. Have him destroy an established star in Orton early on in his main roster career would basically inform people who aren't aware of him just how dominant he is.

I always have this image of him debuting the same way he did in NXT. Like have The Miz come out and give a promo saying how he's the best and how Mizdow was lucky to beat him. Out comes Owens, and dismantles Miz brutally. The crowd is like "woah" and he comes across as really dominant.

Bryan would make him look bigger and get him the most heel heat. He can injure Bryan before their match so it doesn't look as bad when he destroys Bryan.

I know this sounds crazy, but I was thinking Zayn/Owens feud carries onto the main roster and they get put into a fatal 4 way/ triple threat WWE WHC match at SummerSlam. I mean it's not as if the main roster is booming with main eventers or anything, so now's not a bad time to establish them as top guys.

First, I would like to say that I think they are kinda doing a bad job on NXT with Owens. I mean, he is entertaining and all but booking him as a monster is bad. Not for the product because it's entertaining but because he won't be able to do that on the Main Roster because of his size and so, that is wasted time to work on his gimmick, they should've just went with a normal booking

To come back to the question, I would say Dolph Ziggler, he would make Owens looks like a real danger. I would basically have him go after everyone that is a contender for the IC Title. Have him beat them all and then, have a Summerslam match against Bryan ( if he debuted tomorrow of course^^ )

Since he's willing to do anything for cash / to take care of his family....make him a sellout and be Seth's new security / bodyguard. Then at some point, Seth loses the title and HHH kicks him out of the Authority, launching a Seth vs Authority feud where Seth takes on Owens and HHH.

Or hell, have Owens betray Seth and cost him the title. Owens' greed/craving for power could make him a double sell-out - joining the authority and then betraying seth for his own gain. Leading to a similar storyline as above.

Being the 'bodyguard' means that Owens can dominate without having much of a singles W/L record. He'll be able to become a familiar face without an overly rushed and quickly ended NXT push. When he finally gets a feud, it'll be with Seth Rollins, who is smaller/faster and a contradicting style. Perfect for Owens to 'bully' around. They've worked together in RoH, so you know the ring chemistry is there...nevermind Seth's ridiculous skills in the ring. Seth has gotten to the point where he can cut a pretty decent promo, so the mic work should be good.

Some interesting responses here, the Lesnar thing sounds good but, I think he would need quite a build up before going into that, as opposed to straight away if that was to happen, he'd need to have an aura and reputation on the main roster first before going into a match with Lesnar I think :)
