There is something about this guy that reminds me a lot of Road Dogg.
He has charisma, mic skills, catchphrases, funny taunts just like Road Dogg.
And they have similar entrance too.
Your thoughts?

I think so, yeah.

Will be booked as such when he comes to the Main Roster? Highly doubtful. I see them being a comedy jobber act similar to Adam Rose. They'll get a few wins right off the bat and then sink.

Enzo is my favorite dude down in NXT right now and I'm certainly scared to see what they do with him on RAW.

Yea, that's too bad, he is very unique character and he's always fun to watch, Enzo is also my fav on NXT

He's been wrestling for barely 2 years, he can only get better but you gotta admit that he has best mic skills in NXT

Yes, him and Big Cass are identical to the New Age Outlaws and I can't even spend a second in the world of Devils advocate for that.

That being said BADABOOM REALIST GUYS IN THE ROOM HOW YOU DOIN?!?!!!

H was good the first few times i saw him, i like him and Cass i rreally do, but his mic skills are less impressive the more you hear them, and if thats all he's got....I dont see much hope on the main roster, i hope im wrong...

I think Enzo is wittier than Road Dogg. The D-O-double G would do the exact same schtick all the time, while Enzo usually has a bit of new material once he actually hits the ring.

If I had to make a comparison though, I'd say that Enzo is likely to be the new Santino once he hits the main roster. Seriously, I'm bigger than Enzo, a couple of months of toning up and I'd look more the part of a wrestler than he does. Don't get it twisted, I like the guy, I just don't know how he can wrestle with any credibility. At least Road Dogg has some size to him.

I've only seen him probably four of five times and it's always the same little shtick each time. Says you can't teach that 5-6 times. His in ring ability is pretty non existent but he's new so he could improve a lot in the ring over time.
I guess I just wasn't entertained the few times I've seen him. Maybe I just haven't seen his best stuff.

And right now it's an insult to Road Dog to compare this kid to him. In his prime Dog was getting huge reactions everywhere he went and was damn good on the mic.

If you've seen him once, you've seen it all. He pretty much does the same promo every time, with a few different lines. Wrestles the same match also.

He hasn't really had any big moments whatsoever in NXT. About the only time I saw him do anything interesting, is when he was "knocked out" in a match and Big Cass placed him on top of the opponent to get the pin. Atleast that was inventive.

Road Dogg was a tall guy and he could wrestle.
Could he? I can't speak for his pre WWE stuff, but he was never very impressive in WWE. He had his jabs, shake rattle and roll and a pump handle slam. From the real double J to the outlaws, that is about all he would do.

Enzo is like a mix of Road Dogg, DDP and Robert De Niro, it's fantastic. Road Dogg was not a good worker by any means but he was far from terrible. He was pretty creative when it came to brawling though as his matches against Cactus/Funk and his Hardcore Title reign will attest.

I can certainly see a lot of Dogg in Enzo. His catchphrases and overall charisma means that his in-ring work has taken such a far back seat. Like on the back seat of a very large bus. He has a lot of time to improve though.

Road Dogg was a very basic wrestler as well so the comparison is almost complete there

That is a good comparison. Raw could use that kind of charisma on Raw. How many catchphrases does the main roster have? Guys like Stone Cold, The Rock, and Y2J could rattle off more catchphrases in 5 minutes than we get in a bloated Raw.

Enzo is the shits as far as I'm concerned.

As far as I recall, a typical NAO match was Road Dogg getting them over during the entrance, Road Dogg getting worked over for 95% of the match, hot tag to Billy Gunn, finish.
Enzo's obviously got the mic skills to get them over and he can take a decent bump, so I think he could easily match Road Dogg's competence in the above role. I wouldn't say Cass is quite Billy Gunn yet though...
If Enzo can make talking and bumping work for him, maybe add in an entertaining move or two like the Shake, Rattle and Roll, there's no reason why he can't be what the Road Dogg was at all.

Enzo & Cass are extremely entertaining to me. I think these guys can get over really well on the main roster, they just need to book them in a non-forceful way, don't tell the fans to chant along with them, just let it happen naturally. And before you know it the crowd will be littered with SAWFT t-shirts.
