On Raw the tiny promo of him doing the red arrow ended with the word Neville. His attire looked normal so hopefully they treat him well on the main roster!

Congrats Neville!

Ugh....I hate to be negative about Neville but WWe does not how to handle guys like these and just treat them as spot monkeys (e.g. Evan Bourne, Justin Gabriel)

He will be working 4 minute nothing matches with Kofi Kingston eventually until he goes back to the NXT.

I swear, if the WWe couldn't pay as well as it does and didn't have the nostalgia associated with it, no wrestler would ever work for this company.

Oh good, someone else becoming nothing but a single name. They really love to take away the human aspect of their characters these days. God forbid people actually bond with a character in some way.

Neville on its own just sounds silly.

A gimmick from 30 years ago in a different era. IF you haven't noticed, the business has moved beyond the over the top outlandish characters. This is 1988 so maybe you need to move on there Vince.

I love how someone who want's more realistic gimmicks has the Ultimate Warrior in his profile pic and signature block.
O look... two of these jokers...

Neville looked awesome... modern day super hero, and his flips looked even crisper and quicker than he has ever done in NXT!!! Loved the cape, I think he can be extremely marketable!

I was a huge fan of his in ring work in NXT, but now I'm a fabn of his superhero character on the main roster, let's hope he doesn't get lost in the shuffle like so many do i.e. Kofi etc.

And this is why Vince wanted to give him the mighty mouse gimmick & honestly I think he'd be great with it. He did look like a superhero on Raw, he looked awesome. Not to mention the pyro was a nicely added effect.

People complain too much, his name is shortened to Neville, he has a cape, wah, wah, wah.

These things are marketable you dummies & Neville markets better than Adrian Neville which sounds like some ROH shit. That cape is also very marketable with his abs & strength.

Good job Vince, hope you don't sour on Neville.

I don't have good hope for him though.... just stoked they didn't bring Balor up after that false first half. Jesus christ, NXT needs to be closed off from this shit for good. No more call ups. Save us HHH/Dusty whoever the fuck isn't a senile shit like Vince for NXT.

It's the overtly gimmick bullshit Vince is in love with... most fans don't buy into it, but fuck if he won't keep trying til the day he dies.

It's stupid. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Brock Lesnar, Damien Mizdow, Bo Dallas, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, and a few others get to keep their full names, so why does Adrian Neville have to have his name truncated?

Not a fan. :(

hopefully triple h has some type of input for the next guys getting called up they shouldn't have dropped his first name Adrian Neville sounds better than Neville

People get way too upset when it comes to WWE ring names.

Do you really want me to bump the Finn Balor name change thread where so many of you where crying about how it was going to ruin him? Or the Kevin Owens name change thread. Or the Dean Ambrose name change thread.

I'm sure there is a thread here somewhere about how Cesaro was fucked because he wasn't "Antonio" anymore, too.

The cape/hood is fine, and adds some flair to his entrance like the pyro. He's still great in the ring and still terrible at promos. Whether he sinks or swims will have nothing to do with his ring gear or his ring name.

This dude's ring name used to be PAC for fucks sake, and some of you are complaining that "Neville" is a bad sounding stand alone name.

(edit)

The post about not being able to "bond" with a character because he or she doesn't have a first and last name is absolutely ridiculous.

Nobody in their right mind has ever thought, "I really like this character, but not having a last name is a deal-breaker for supporting him."

Man, imagine how many more people would be connect with Paige if she had a last name.

Neville looked awesome. Been impressed with every match I've seen him in, so really pleased to see him make his debut. How awesome were those backflips? Transitioned into them so quick, and looked so controlled. He's a seriously good athlete, and must do a LOT of gymnastics work. Would love to see Neville vs Rollins or Bryan.

Not sure why they tend to get rid of first names. I mean I think it works for Rusev and Cesaro but it doesn't with Neville. I just hope they don't do the same with some other superstars like just calling Sami Zayn "Zayn" or something stupid.

He looked good though, interested to see where he goes from here.
