What would you rate NXT Takeover: Rival?

I personally won't give it a rating right now, because I need to re-watch it without it freezing every 30 seconds.

Probably a 7. Itami and Breeze didn't do much for me and quite honestly, the wrong man won in that match. The first half was brutal as fuck. Bull and Baron underperformed and it was disappointing, considering that the stip should've made a halfway decent brawl. The tag team title match was alright.

Balor/Neville? (Y)
The Fatal Four Way? (Y)
Zayn/Owens? (Y)(Y)(Y)(Y)(Y)

I'd give it about an 8. Mainly cos the first hour was a bit underwhelming.

Itami vs Breeze was the best thing about hour 1, cos Corbin vs Dempsey was disappointing, the No DQ stip didn't even come into play. The tag match was weird, the Lucha Dragons seemed a few steps off their game for some reason.

Hour 2 was excellent though, 3 great matches! My favourite was Balor vs Neville, so many awesome moves in there! Glad Balor won and is #1 contender. Plus his entrance with the music and everything is still the coolest thing in the world :mark: The Divas match was awesome, and puts anything on the main roster to shame. I wanted Bayley to win, but Sasha is good too. Main event was great, but I think Balor vs Neville was a bit better. Sami is the ultimate underdog, he sells so wonderfully. Owens looked like a monster out there, and he won the title in his second official match, wow.

9/10.

the beginning was slow, even though the Itami match was good. last three matches blew everything else out of the water. That main event was sick, in all senses of that word. I mean i'm sitting in shock, because that felt and looked like a real fucking fight. I loved the crowd reaction shots, because that was us sitting here just ... no words. As with all of these live events, i have to digest and then re-watch to appreciate it fully.

The Girls stole the show, superb match.
Fin vs Neville was also great.
Kevin vs Zayn- disappointing ending and I expected little more from the match.
Tag Match- strong showing by Blake and Murphy but Lucha Dragons made 2 horrible botches.
Bull vs Corbin- No DQ? Lol.
Hideo vs Breeze- good opener, I liked it.

Itami/Breeze- **3/4
Corbin/Dempsey- *
Tag Titles- **
Balor/Nevile- ***1/2
Fatal 4 Way- ****
Zayn/Owens- ****

Balor vs Nevile is overrated but still great. The first hour was bad but the last was fantastic. I gave it an 8/10. It was still better than most WWE payperviews but that's not an accomplishment.

a 8 so far. The ending is not my favorite way to see a championship transfer hands, but we don't know if Zayn has a legit injury or not. I was really surprised about the botches in the tag team match, especially from Kalisto, first time i see such a big botch from him. The Bull vs Baron match was way to short and Baron looked gassed.

But another solid PPV, Fast Lane is gonna suck BIG time! Eat it Vince, you delusional old out of touch fuck.

I doesn't matter that the Corbin/Bull match sucked and the tag team was meh...

7/10.

I Probaly would've given this event a higher rating if they would've waited another month to hold it to build the stories more. Nothing during this event truely felt special & the only match that I would consider great was the Balor/Neville match.

I knew Owens was walking out champ from the get go, not upset about it, but the match didn't have as special of a feel to it as I think it could have or should have.

Everything just felt kind of rushed with this event, they only had two months to build these programs & outside of the divas & the demsley/Corbin match, none of them were really super focused on, everything was just kind of there in a way, including Zayn/Owens.

I hate being negative about this, but I would definately say this was the weakest event to date, which is unfortunate.

I gave it 9, the 2nd and 3rd matches on were total rubbish.

The Three Main events delivered and the opener was a real fun match

The two matches after the opener didn't do anything for me but they were short so no harm done.

Owens/Zayn was perfect storytelling and not rushing into anything, remember 20 years ago feuds used to go on for months and months. People need to have patience these days. Owens was made to look a beast and Zayn is the ultimate underdog and sold like a pro, he was made to look strong with the ending too. They will have better matches.

The fatal 4 way match with the Divas was excellent and it shoots into the top 5 matches so far this year. All the workers deserved praise and whoever booked it needs to work on diva matches on the main roster.

Balor/Neville was my match of the night and of the year so far. Both men came out of it looking like star players but is anyone surprised. the last ten minutes was awesome and had me on the edge of my seat. The last time that happened was WM 30 with Daniel Bryan's matches.

I thought the 2nd hour was WAY better than the first.

Itami vs. Breeze - 7/10
Corbin vs. Dempsey - 3/10
Tag Team Championship - 6.5/10
Balor vs. Nevile - 8/10
Fatal 4 Way Women's Championship Match - 9.5/10
Zayn vs. Owens - 8.5/10

Great PPV, but didn't surpass the incredible R-Evolution PPV. I'm happy the ladies stole the show tonight.

7.5

Itami & Breeze was decent I think HHH wants to save Hideo's first GTS for someone meaningful

BD vs BC was the worst match of the night. Why have a No DQ without. Single weapon spot

BM vs LD was ok. Kallisto was Mr Botchamania tonight. Blake & Murphy still come off as green to me

Balor vs Neville. Fantastic match, started slow but picked up in a flash. Love the last 5 minutes of this match

Divas 4 Way. Show stealer imo Ladies came out and performed. Bayley in ring work is a joy to watch. The finish shoulda had Charlotte tapped instead of being pinned

KO vs SZ. Ring psychology was on 10. Kevin selling the match when Sami was making his entrance. Great pace back and forth. I'm fine with the finish knowing we get Balor vs Owens
