Mark my word, if Baron Corbin goes to the main roster, the crowd will like him first but ones he gets a main event spot people will turn on him like rabid dogs
and then they will say this:

:dean2 :he has no mic skills!!!

:dead :cant believe that they push this talentless wreck instead Hideo Itami

:penaldo :hes only good in squash matches, vinch just has just a boner for big guys

and then im just sitting here like:kermit

I can see him being on the main roster by the end of this year.

His mic skills arent too bad, he's decent in the ring and he has what you cannot teach, presence. He's the type of guy who you notice once he walks in to a room.

Agreed, one of the few guys who has presence in the ring. I love his look, with his persona and his theme.. so good.

It's doubtful Baron Corbin will make it to the main roster so i wouldn't worry about that.

As of right now I cannot stand him. I don't get the presence or silent charisma a lot of people find appealing about him, I think he looks like a massive toddler and he doesn't entertain me in the slightest.

That being said and looking objectively, I'd say Baron Corbin is a long term investment. Providing he is willing to work hard there is no reason why he can't improve a great deal in every aspect. Perhaps in two or three years he will be able to nail it all, and do it consistently. If that is the case I can see people backing him and investing in him. I'm willing to keep an open mind on everyone in NXT and play the long game, it is still the developmental after all

Remember this show is supposed to be developmental. People who are on the show for development consistently get shit on by others because they're not as good as worldwide renowned stars like Sami Zayn, Finn Balor and Kevin Owens, but no one should ever expect that.

i agree with you all that hes still in develepmont and is improving, but you know who also can pull of a silent badass gimmick: Roman Reigns and they ruined him by making him saying stupid shit that doesnt fit. so what if that gonna do that with Baron Corbin also make him do stuff that doenst fit and make the casual fans scrating there head like "is he serious"

It's hard to say what his future will be. Personally, I don't see anything special in him. This supposed presence he has, I don't see it.. Same with charisma, I don't think he oozes it as some claim. His face is boring and expresionless, really the only good thing he has going for him right now is his size.

We haven't seen anything from this guy to even try to accurately predict his future. He's never had a memorable match (understandable), but he's also never had a decent-length match on which we can judge him.. He's never done a regular promo etc.. I'm willing to give him a chance, especially since he hasn't even been on NXT for a year, but he should start having longer matches soon.

Uh, you're basically saying "If Corbin goes up completely unchanged from how he is now" which is absurd. He is in developmental to learn, and he will not be going anywhere for a long time. He's a long term project.

If he develops into a good big man wrestler, and a good speaker, than no one will have a problem with him.

Same reason no one would have a problem with Reigns if he wasn't, you know, shit.
