What's happened with Breeze? I usually only watch the specials. He was in the two before R Evolution, but didn't' feature in that one or the taping following it.
For sure the guys who were highlighted in last night's episode - Corbin, Owens and Bálor. Probably Chad Gable, Alexa Bliss and Stowman too. Maybe Solomon Crowe.
Main event is obviously going to be selected from Neville, Zayn, Owens, Balor and Itami before Neville moves to main roster. Some of these guys will need to stay in NXT for a year or more to maintain the standard of the specials. Kidd and Axel will be in that mix with Kidd now spending more time on main roster.
Corbin & Crowe will move to upper mid card & maybe Dempsey too. Murphy and Blake will move up to Vaudevillains level once The Ascension leave NXT. Murphy has major singles potential too. Kalisto and Sin Cara might even move to main roster.
Below that, Chad Gable will appear on tv more. Gable, & Knox will be regular house show midcarders and Stowman will make house show appearances in the ring early in the year and rise fairly quick. Dylan Miley & Josh Woods probably making house shows in April/May. Miley will move up very fast.
Those are your rising stock for 2015 I think.
And here are a few things I want to see happen but probably won't.
Be great if Parker and Dillinger did well this year but it's getting very crowded at the top. Parker needs a feud to get his gimmick working fully. Maybe against Breeze or someone in a ******* gimmick.
Shoot Nation looks like it will work well for Sawyer Fulton and be good if he got a break
Mechanics are very good and need to get out of jobber status.
I guess there will also be some who are released too. A lot of talent has joined recently and the roster is big

I doubt they make any cuts unless there are a lot of new signings. You'd have to imagine that Balor and Itami won't be spending much time here, as well as the guys who appear to be moving on in Neville and Ascension. Also, while I don't want to lose him to NXT, it's obvious that Zayn has more than earned a call up. I think they will milk a big feud with Owens up until the next special, MAYBE two more specials - and then he's gone. He's ready now, IMO. I don't see them delaying it much longer.
I think everyone is safe as long as they are getting the job done or showing improvement.
Kevin Owens will be one of the top stars in NXT next year, he's already a top star now but he'll be firmly established by then.
Sami Zayn will be NXT's defining star.
I'm hoping for Kalisto to break out on his own next year. I can't wait to see him in longer less restricted matches.
Finn Balor probably won't be in NXT all that long but he's obviously one of the biggest stars down there.
Hopefully Tyler Breeze will be utilised a little more next year. Just when I really started getting into him they took him off tv.
Besides just picking the obvious stars I'll also name Jason Jordan, Hugo Knox (I've literally seen nothing but pics of him but he has a good look so I'm just throwing it out there), Buddy Murphy and Uhaa Nation if he's signed as guys I see potential in.
As for the women: Alexa Bliss, she's going to be the top babyface diva, and Sasha Banks will be the top heel diva I think.
The whole nxt 5 is a hard situation. No doubt in my mind all 5 have potential to be atleast uppermidcard in wwe if used right. No doubt in my mind they will be replaced on nxt with all the talent they have and will eventually sign. The hard part is when you call them up without them overshadowing eachother. Needs atleast a couple months apart in order to be succesfull imo.
Neville is done in nxt. He,s been there the longest 2,5 years and has done anything there is to do. Id debut him at the rumble and have him be a regular from there on unlike rusev last year. Next up is Sami Zayn id debut him somewhere after mania. He needs to have a real feud with Steen and atleast 1 ppv special match. Drop the belt to steen and make steen the new face of nxt. Next up is devitt and kenta. Both are 33 and ready and dont deserve being there for too long. The wrestling in japan is so similair to wwe especially njpw so they are ready but need to move up the right time in order to not flop. I think they could make the move as a tagteam in order to get them both at the same time. Then on the mainroster kenta can turn on devitt and have them feud. So by Summerslam of 2015 all except steen should be on the mainroster imo.
Build nxt around steen for the next 1,5-2 year. Have him debut somewhere in 2016. He'll be 32 by then so he can afford it plus it will make a bigger impact + he needs the seasoning although already great the roh/indy style differs alot from wwe.
A guy I want to see make a huge impact on nxt in 2015 is jason jordan. Watched him in fcw in 2011 feels like he,s been down there forever. The guy should be able to get called up by 2016/2017 and needs to start building his name now. See huge potential in the guy. Young, technical, atlethic, great body, charismatic. Needs to find the right character/persona.and work on his micskills and the guy could be the next big player in wwe.
This is a very good point. Too much talent is a good problem to have but it's still a problem. I think Neville will be around in NXT till Mania. They have set up too much storyline to go much before then. Zayn will need to stay until around Summerslam to have a meaningful title defense and to develop the story there. That kinda puts a lower limit on how early Itami and Balor move up, unless they do it as a tag team. HHH needs to keep 2 or 3 of the NXT 5 down for 12 months at least to maintain the level of REvolution at the next specials. So Owens needs to stay plus one or two others. That is gonna be Itami and Balor or Uhaa Nation/Adam Cole if they can be brought in quick enough.
While that is happening, Crowe/Murphy/Gable/Louis/Breeze/whoever from developmental, can grow into the main eventers.
The Jason Jordan point is also good. The guy is a fucking monster in real life. Not just a normal guy who has spent a lot of time lifting (like dillinger/knox etc). His whole frame is twice as wide as normal. He needs to get on the mic more and coached for promos. Shoot nation could be bad for him as Gable looks to be the mouthpiece here. If he got that part at least OK, he wouldn't need much of a gimmick.
I was actually hoping for Murphy's tag team with Blake to get a huge push. I want more quality tag teams, so I have no problem if they keep him as part of a tag. Wouldn't complain with a singles push though if it were to go down.
As far as the OP: Owens, Corbin, Breeze, Uhaa Nation, Adam Cole, plus maybe Axel re-push.
Tag teams: Vaudevillains, Enzo&Cass, Murphy/Blake
Women: Sasha, Sasha, Sasha - seriously, she should dominate 2015. Expect a push for Lynch and Bliss as well.
Well watching the year end special and thinking back to the prior year too, it seems like each year roughly five guys get called up, and maybe 5-10 move into getting featured on NXT.
My guess for the five call ups would be Neville, Charlotte, Zayn, Balor, and Breeze. And Ascension of course. I actually see Zayn staying in NXT most of the year but do expect him to debut next year sometime. Owens and Itami may be on a fast track too.
New featured guys will be Crowe, Gable (with or without shoot nation), Stowman, maybe someone else like Hugo Knox or someone they sign.
So with all that in mind, I am expecting big things from all the current main event guys until such time as they debut (so Zayn, Neville, Owens, etc), as well as bigger pushes for Murphy/Blake, Corbin, and Enzo/Cass.
Hopefully as many girls and guys as possible, even those I don't rate very highly - because I am not the only watching the show and of course it's best for business.
Oh and please still keep NXT specials to four per year. It's making them, you know, special.
balor isn't long for nxt. i think wwe had big plans to build nxt around owens but he is fast becoming guy that could debut on main roster
i expect big things out of alexa bliss, becky lynch, colin cassady in 2015. Itami i expect to be built as the main babyface going forward after mania 31
Stowman was a super charismatic showman as a strongman. He is not "boring" just because he is huge.
