The Current NXT Champion

Just my thoughts on the guy...even tho I can't remember his name (that's not a good thing)

He seems very lackluster...I dunno...just your generic high flyer.

The fact that I can't think of his name off the too of my head shows that he doesent leave a memorable impact to be honest.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy NXT and find the talent on the show great but this guy I just don't get.

Re: The Current NXT Champion

I think he should go by "The Man that Gravity Forgot" monicker. I mean if wwe is dropping first and last names left and right to make wrestlers sound tougher/more marketable (whatever) than Adrian Neville needs to go. And he's not going to be Adrian if Vince thought Antonio wasn't tough enough a first name to have Cesaro keep it.

"...And now entering the ring, from Newcastle, England weighing in at 96kilo's The Man That Gravity Forgot"

Have you seen of his stuff from New Japan?

It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what.

Re: The Current NXT Champion

I dig the guy, he looks small and his accent gets "what?" chants, but hey, I'd prefer seeing him than Bootista and Boreton.

And his indy work was outstanding.

Victory through guts.

Mark-out for: Daniel Bryan, Okada, Zayn, Manami Toyota, HBK, Stone Cold and more!

I'm going to have to finally get around to watching this stuff. I'll agree, from what I've seen he does seem quite generic, but then again, the E loves to get wrestlers to tone down their move set.

Will you ever see Sami Zayn do a brainbuster onto the top turnbuckle? Not likely, but it's all through the indies, along with some of the sickest moves I've ever seen. Too bad they'll never make it to air on any WWE programming.

Well, maybe if he gets called up and takes part in Extreme Rules.
