Re: The Current NXT Champion

His name really sucks, PAC sounded so much better.

But he is a great talent, and I am sure he will get over with the casual fans too with his crazy moves.

Why is PAC better? WTF is a PAC?

Re: The Current NXT Champion

I dunno what it is about him. I haven't seen a ton of his matches, maybe about 10 at most but each and every time i have been underwhelmed. He's not in the same league as Sami Zayn. He is entertaining but i think he will do well to get on the roster and stya on it.

Top 5 (At the moment):

1. Seth Rollins
2. Daniel Bryan
3. Sami Zayn
4. Luke Harper
5. Mizdow

Re: The Current NXT Champion

If Claudio Castagnoli's real name was Antonio Cesaro and the WWE renamed him Claudio Castagnoli, you'd bitch that Cesaro is a better name (which probably is anyway).
Even if PAC is a good name, which it isn't, it's too similar to X-Pac. Adrian Neville is fine. I don't like Sami Zayn's name a lot, but whatever. These two should have great matches together.

Re: The Current NXT Champion

Some of PAC's work with guys like Generico and Teddy Hart were still impressive. Knowing how to work this kind of match is great for the big PPV events (yes... now the big "Network" events ) because it is easier to tone down one's style rather than not have the skills when needed.

Hope that Neville gets a good gimmick or is placed in a stable where he can work his way into the minds of fans in a way that causes them to cheer, buy his merchandise, etc. If Vince were smart he would find a way to have Neville teach an online course about "how to increase vertical leap" (which gets over 15,000 searches a month in Google) and sell the information or find some way to monetize it. That way Neville would be "relevant" year round (through the search engines) and Vince could find a way for Neville to end up paying for himself. The same could be said for Kofi Kingston and other guys who have tremendous leaping/jumping skill. Just my $0.02.

Re: The Current NXT Champion

I think Neville needs to eventually shorten his ring name to something more recognizable, like Triple H did. I doubt he will continue on being Adrien Neville for the rest of his career. PAC wasn't bad but I think he would prefer to keep that for the indys if his WWE run doesn't work out.

Saying he is not in the league of Sami Zayn can't really be taken as a criticism, there aren't many in the league of Zayn as far as in-ring ability. He is still well above your average "spot monkey" as far as putting on intriguing matches and he can also pull off all his crazy spots without botching or looking sloppy. Not to mention that his physical condition definitely sets him apart from any other high-fliers who usually look like twigs.

He is a huge talent despite some short-comings and WWE has realized this.
