Re: Oliver Grey, is there potential?
Only got a glimpse of him during the tag match, but variations of wristlocks and holding on to it through the counters reminded me of some of the World of Sport matches. Definitely fluid in the ring. Looking forward to watching more of him and Neville.

Re: Oliver Grey, is there potential?
Had a chance in the past couple days to check out one of his indy matches as Joel Redman from IPW:UK (courtesy of the British Indies Megapost by Seabs) - thought it was pretty good stuff. He was matched up against Mark Haskins (who had a short stint in TNA) and by the looks of that match, he's got a bright future. He's not overly flashy, but very technically sound and told a good story in the ring.
I hope that he & Neville have a good long run as a tag team, both on NXT & the main roster later. Their complement each other well and with the high-flying moves Neville can bust out they could be fan favorites. Plus, if mic work isn't a strong suit for either guy they could always have Regal be a mentor/manager to speak for them... at ringside he could come out with them & sit at commentary during their matches - no need for him to be on the outside as a distraction, especially as face team. The added benefit is that Regal could put them over during their matches without taking away time from other segments. Win-win in my book.

Yes, there's potential there and he'll fit in nicely as a mid card face. Which means WWE will find some way to ruin it if he gets called up.

Re: Oliver Grey, is there potential?
At this point I think I would prefer him over Bo Dallas right now feuding with Wade Barrett. Oliver could talk about Wade is a very big deal back home, and that it's an honor being able to compete vs him. However I guess we are stuck with Bo Dallas. Hell, once the WWE gets back over to England, may be they will debut Oliver then.

I hope they don't debut him as a singles competitor - I would much prefer they bring him & Neville up to the main roster as a team and push them as the second coming of the British Bulldogs.
Down the line I think he has potential as a singles guy, but I think he'd be over by association with Adrian Neville at the start... his high flying will get them both over as faces instantly. In their first match together on NXT, the crowd reaction when he hit the corkscrew SSP was one of the bigger pops I've heard on that show. Once they've had a decent run as a team, you can do the inevitable heel turn on the partner down the line.

Re: Oliver Grey, is there potential?
I love the way he brings his experience in Judo to his matches. And yea, I do see potential in him. Not a future face of the company- potential, but potential to become a solid upper midcarder like Kingston or if he keeps developing, maybe a World champ someday.

Re: Oliver Grey, is there potential?
I just watched he and neville against ohno and kruger, and the guy is good.
not seen any promos from him, but regal says he's reminded of dynamite kid, and that's always a damn good thing.

Re: Oliver Grey, is there potential?
Good match, and I personally think he's better than Neville, from a technical sense. His style allows for better psychology and storytelling. He also seems to be a more comfortable talker.

you wouldn't have any clips of him talking would you? I tried checking those promos uploaded here the other day, but they'd been taken down.

Re: Oliver Grey, is there potential?
Reports are that he blew out his knee at a NXT live event last night. What shitty timing.
