Hopefully the Wyatt Family wins the titles. I picked them as the inaugural tag champs off the bat when I heard there were going to be tag titles. Not that it matters but if Wyatt is going to be on NXT until probably after WrestleMania, at least have him/his faction be dominant. I don't know if a show that's only one hour needs tag titles though. Inevitably, the belt is going to not be featured at least half the episodes with the amount of talent they have to showcase.

Vince needs to do himself a favor, and promote the booker of NXT to WWE.

I don't know if it's HHH or a former wrestler now a road agent, whoever...but whoever books NXT is in their sleep a better booker than those who book WWE television and PPVs. The matches are booked correctly, the feuds are given good time to develop, and the characters are written well enough to the point that they all actually develop their own personalities.

A scary thought is in reality...perhaps the problem is Vince. Vince doesn't have his hands in NXT...and maybe that's why it's so good.

NXT is head and shoulders above Raw/Smackdown right now as far as writing and character direction go, it just shows the sad state of the company when developmental is better than the main shows.

One advantage NXT has over WWE in terms of their sensible booking is that their show is only one hour, so you can stretch the feuds out much longer and make them seem fresh. Which is why I'm all in favour of axing Smackdown altogether. But yes, WWE still could learn from it.

I think this is part of the problem.

I am completely in favor of getting rid of all TV shows except the live Monday Night Raw.

The thing that WWF at the time did SO well in 1997-2000 was the end of Raw cliffhanger. Especially in the go home show before a PPV. And the 3 weeks without a PPV you'd have 6 full days to ponder and think trying to figure out what was going to happen next. It drew you into the show the following week. And it was fun.

That mystique is gone. Because if there is a cliffhanger, the next night you turn on the internet and you read what happened at the taped Smackdown.

So I think you're on to it. It's not going to happen though because that means loss of money. But one of the main problems with modern WWE in my opinion is too many shows.

Trips runs everything down as far as I know, obviously creative writes some of the scripts and stuff.

Just shows that we may not have everything to fear when Trips takes over, apart from Steph.
