Unfortunately his physique probably is an issue (which is stupid).

I think more than likely they will be wanting him to work on the WWE style a bit more, it is often the case that guys who have a lot of experience in other companies have their own ways of working a match, which WWE might not think translates well on TV.

He will never do it to the main roster with this kind of shape. Ambrose hit the gym and he has now a quite good muscular look (he's no ryback i know). In 2005 Punk worked a lot on his body too. It's not too difficult to understand. His beard will not help him enough
