Anyone else come away very impressed with his promo with The Miz?

I thought he did an extremely good job and outperformed The Miz, who I consider to be very good on the microphone.

Also, I frequently hear people bashing his mic skills and I am curious if it changed anyone's mind.

the problem isnt that people bash his mic skills. It's that people think he's shit on the mic because they never let him speak on the MAIN SHOW. He does so much fantastic work on their lesser-viewed programs, that if people watched those and paid attention to his promo work, they would realize he's not shit at all.

Isn't that bashing? I agree with you though. It's because they never let him speak and don't see it.

It was fantastic from both guys, nice to see Dolph show some intensity. I kinda want to see these two guys have a proper feud now.

Good promo from both. Probably Dolph's best work. Not a fan of his promos normally because it looks like he's trying to make a "cool face" and he makes some really corny one-liners(look at his promo from this past RAW). Just usually looked forced but he did good on Main Event. Miz was good too but I expect that from him. Not a Miz fan either but he's a good mic worker.

My only problem with this promo was the horrible "Show off" line at the end.

Just no. Not sure if Dolph comes up with this stuff or the writers but it needs to stop.
