Big E Langston
 

Does anyone else like the whole 5 gimmick? It's so dumb, yet it's so fun and it's pretty darn over. It's obvious that it won't be the gimmick he sticks with when he gets called up though, he'd be better suited in a Mark Henry protege role. But still, the whole 5 thing is fun for now in my opinion.

I don't mind it, and it's something for him to start with in NXT. He has the size that is intimidating, and I'm certain he will get on the main roster. I did a thread that was an idea for him once he hit the main roster. In which Big E Langston is Lil' Jimmy manifested in human form. Turns out R-Truth was not making him up. He would go by the name Big E Langston, but explain his nickname was little Jimmy because he was the scrawniest kid on the block. R-Truth stuck up for him, and finally got him a contract in the WWE. He basically says he owes his old friend.

Eventually we come to find that it was all bullshit. David Otunga ends up being behind the unexpected heel turn from Big E Langston who ends up with Otunga. Langston says that Otunga was responsible for getting him under Lauranitis as GM, and David helped him become educated as well. Of course this falls in to the character of Otunga having a Harvard Law Degree.
Big E.Langston says that there never was a little Jimmy, and he didn't know R-Truth to save his life. R-Truth in their eyes is just some dumb uneducated professional wrestler.

Just spent a good few days catching up with NXT, REALLY into Big E. He only just debuted when I last saw an episode, but I really dug the last couple of appearances. NXT is really great right now.

He's good. The gimmick he has is certainly unique and you can't argue with how over he has become the fans in the NXT arena. But personally the segments he's involved in tend to go a bit too long, but that's my only major issue with him.

Big E Langston's gimmick and finisher are better than Ryback's in my opinion. The fact that people want him to do his finisher multiple times says a lot. I'll take the 5 count and the chalk over "Feed me more" every day of the week.

Big E Langston, is who I'm referring to. Is this guy one of the most over guys ever in FCW? I think he is at least out of all the guys i've seen throughout FCW's run with WWE. I've not seen anyone in FCW/NXT that gets nearly the reaction he does. He gets the crowd into his matches, they've already started chanting his catch phrase "5!" every time he comes on. They even want more after his matches are over "1 more time!". Damn if he is this over when gets on the main roster he'll be winning titles in no time.

they really are getting over with their big men i wouldn't be surprised if they rushed this guy to the main event to have a super match of some sort with ryback
