Am I the only one that would think it would be cool if they incorporated a ladder system with wins and losses into the show? So the person in the number one slot after a certain amount of time gets a chance to move up to the main roster by beating a superstar from the main roster (i.e Smackdown or Raw). It would add a bit of "legitimacy" (lol) to the show and would do a good job kayfabe of building up the younger guys and giving them momentum when they finally hit the bigger shows.

Christ they play 50 replays and recaps of previous weeks shows why can't they show the highlight reel of the kid getting the victory over the Raw or Smackdown star before their debut match so not only do the crowd get to see a taste of their ring work and style but also they can figure out if they are face or heel BEFORE they come out. Which might help a little with initially getting over.

I've thought this also, somewhat. Every time I lay these out, I make up storylines in my head, like an angle that Tyson Kidd has, where, though he's reached the top of the ladder, is struggling to win more matches, and is about to lose his spot to Jinder Mahal, and ends up feuding with him for the top spot.

Alternatively, in the Raw-SmackDown Records, I've made up this angle where Sheamus has become power hungry with being Champion and with the most wins, and is feuding with Big Show to stay at the top, doing everything he can to get Big Show out of competition.

One more thing I also like to do is imagine if 'whoever has the most wins' faces 'whoever has the best overall record' in a WrestleMania match, to earn a title shot. For example, on the Raw/SD side, it would be Sheamus (22-9-2) vs. Brodus Clay (18-0).

WTF?

Guys like Hawkins, Riley and McIntyre should be the ones with 11-2 scores...
Kidd obviously as well; If I remember correctly, his last 3 Superstars matches have been loses to Tensai, Hunico and Cesaro (you've got to watch the Kidd vs Hunico and Cesaro vs Kidd matches).
