Re: Opinions on Avenged Sevenfold?

Not my bag baby. Just not the genre I like. I have heard a couple songs and they are ok. Im sure live they are good. I have a lot of friends who dig them. I'm more of an Avenged Tenfold kind of guy.

Re: Opinions on Avenged Sevenfold?

First heard them when they came out with Waken The Fallen and always liked them since, but their last two albums are kinda boring in my opinion. Still a solid band and I still listen to their Waken the Fallen and City of Evil songs.

Fan of Daniel Bryan,Seth Rollins,Dean Ambrose,CM Punk,Brock Lesnar,Antonio Cesaro,Randy Orton, Kazuchika Okada,Shinsuke Nakamura,and Minoru Suzuki

I'm not a fan
Pretty much all of this.

I'll hear bits and pieces on the radio now and then. Sometimes the instrumental work will catch my ear and I'll listen. But, then I hear the vocals and it ruins everything.

People say they're the next Metallica? 2

I remember when people said Trivium were the next Metallica. Metallica on the whole aren't even that good.

Re: Opinions on Avenged Sevenfold?

Back when I used to listen to them I mostly played their first or second album. Can't remember which one it was.

Rev was a great drummer, not in a group of the greatest but he definitely was close. Both guitarists were pretty good too.
Vocals went to shit when the lead singer guy had to get surgery on his vocal chords though.

A lot of metalcore (though they're basically hard rock now) bands always get a lot of shit for not being "real metal".

Should note in hindsight their songs were always badly written bar Bat Country imo.

Ulfric Stormcloak; not a racist, not a megalomaniac, not a savage, but a hero with heart & ambition.

All hail to Ulfric you are the High King
In your great honor we drink and we sing
We're the children of Skyrim and we fight all our lives
And when Sovngarde beckons everyone of us dies

We drink to our youth to the days come and gone
For the age of oppression is now nearly done
