Saw Black sabbath last thursday and i like to repeat that Iommi is probably the greatest guitarrist, not just in metal, but in rock history.

Didn't even realise ADTR were releasing their new album tomorrow.

Haven't listened to them in an age but may check it out.

Most creative for sure, technical wise not so much. Not trying to put down the god of riff but this is something he admits himself.. anyways, how are they live these days? specifically how is ozzy holding up vocally?

The man is a riff machine. There has never been a rhythm guitar player better at getting more out of every note. He definitely has more riffs in my top 50 than anyone else

I am shred to the bone so I understand your point completely. If I had a dollar for every minute I have spent over the tears arguing this point about being a great songwriter doesn't make you the greatest guitarist I would be rich Who are your favorite players?

Michael Amott (Carcass/Arch Enemy), Stevie Ray Vaughn, Andy LaRocque (King Diamond/Death), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar/Down), Mick Mars (Motley Crue), Dave Sabo (Skid Row), Jack Owen (Cannibal Corpse). Just a hand full off the top of my head that inspire me the most when I go to write something.

Is it worth buying? Which one would you recommend me?
Doesn't matter if it is good or not, no god damn album is worth nearly thirty bucks unless it comes with a TON of goodies behind it. That's outlandish.

Buy Riot!. Brand New Eyes > All We Know is Falling, although AWKIF has Emergency which is one of their best songs ever so choose between that analogy there. Or if you can find their live album/dvd combo: The Final Riot - get that as the third.

Thanks. I will buy Riot! for sure and Brand New Eyes too. And I may get the self-titled album for my birthday, which is in the end of the month.

I accept rep.

This is our city Baltimore. There are many issues here and we need answers. Let's not lose sight of the real fight, the truth and justice. When we tear down what is ours, we only give license to others to do the same. I, too, am frustrated. I, too, want answers. More importantly, I don't want to lose another life or hear about another violent arrest. I want us to stand together and rebuild, not destroy. We don't pay respect to a family who loses a son, brother and friend by destroying our city. There is a lot of work to be done and progress will be made when we work together. I have faith and #prayforbaltimore
