Careful has some good music up in it. I'd say it trumped the vocals as the way those were produced weren't as strong as usual. Ignorance will always be the tops on BNE. Can't beat it. Lucky for them it was able to fly as a hit. Love those lyrics.

The blonde will never be her best look. b/c it lacked the RED appeal. Still looked good though. That's a given. Everything in 2013 pre hair cut has driven me nuts, tbhayley. Like really, the mutlicolored? Nylon magazine shoot? FUCK.

OK, so I'm thinking of buying a few albums and there are 3 Paramore albums. But I don't have much money to spend on them. I will buy Riot! ($14,92) and there also is Brand New Eyes (also $14,92) and Paramore ($27,48). I really want to buy the self-titled album, but is it worth the price? And I like a few songs from Brand New Days. Is it worth buying? Which one would you recommend me?

Aww, what about All We Know is Falling? Unless you already have it, I suggest buying that. I even got my hands on a limited red vinyl, which is probably worth some coin (around $200 on Amazon ATM), but I'll never sell

Anyway, definitely get your hands on their debut, Riot and Brand New Eyes. Just my opinion, though. I guess I have a thing for sequential order But, looking at your prices, I can probably guess you're not in the US. So, the prices are a bit higher than I'd pay here in the states. Cause Riot's only $5, bne's only $7 and self titled is only $12.

Yeah, I'd buy em in sequential order. Maybe by that time the price of the self titled will go down a bit. But, if you're gonna go for it, go for it! Paramore's worth the coin

Hanoi has pretty much hit all the right points, but I'll add my two pence worth for the hell of it. To start with you canNOT go wrong with 'Take As Needed For Pain' by Eyehategod.

Also, for one of the most obscenely heavy albums ever created, listen to 'Odd Fellow's Rest' by the mighty CROWBAR. Some damn fine tunes on that album.

Torche are one of my favourite bands of all time, ignore them at your peril - 'Meanderthal' and 'Harmonicraft' are BRILLIANT.
Acid Bath veer in different directions most of the time but they always retain that swampy sludgy swagger, check out 'When The Kite String Pops'
Speaking of swampy, you can't have a sludge topic without mentioning Buzz'oven - there are slow songs and fast songs, but all filthy as fuck
However, us English cunts can sludge with the best of them - listen to Iron Monkey for some disgusting Sabbath-meets-Black Flag dirt
Melvins have been going for nigh on thirty years, but I sincerely believe some of their best work has come from the recent albums with the members of Big Business (who you also need to check out sharpish)
The 'Supercollider' album by Cavity has been on constant rotation recently - an underrated sludge classic
Also check out Kongh, Buried At Sea, Noothgrush, The Abominable Iron Sloth, Soilent Green (bit grindy but still great), Unearthly Trance, early Kylesa, Dream Death, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu....

Also, one last nod to a band who had a bit of a controversial ending - Thee Plague Of Gentlemen, one of the heaviest live bands I've ever seen, but the frontman had to spoil it by being a kiddie fiddler. Shame really. Rest of the members went on to form Serpentcult, who were also pretty meaty themselves, not to mention the singer was fit as fuck.
When I first saw your screen name I figured it came from EyeHateGod. Just curious, but what did you think of Superjoint Ritual?

When the Kite String Pops is one of my all time favs.I discovered it by accident at a used CD store. I saw the Gacy art and had to have it.

I know it is a huge change of pace, but have you listened to any Psychotica?

true, they played here not long after the NY gig in that doc, some shady promoter set it up then disappeared gig week and the whole thing looked like a disaster, a few kind hearted legends stepped in and made it happen, the band flew over, hung out all weekend, the stars just aligned and the gig was fucking triumphant. They were all genuinely blown away by the reaction they got, Liebling was the nicest guy ever too.

I shouldve put that in the top 5 gigs thread now that I think of it.
