Default Deathcore

I loathed this genre years ago, always considered it 'emo music' before, but recently I've found some pretty sick bands, like Carnifex, All Shall Perish, Job for a Cowboy and Heaven Shall Burn. Can any of you recommend me some similar bands? Deathcore bands that are actually good, not emo shit like Bring Me the Horizon and similar crap.

BMTH is emo? Okay...

Most deathcore is ridiculously similar anyways, but here you go:

Despised Icon
Suicide Silence
Whitechapel
Glass Casket
Through The Eyes Of The Dead
The Acacia Strain

There's a local band that are very good called Monolith, who I guess are largely influenced by deathcore. I'd suggest checking them out if you're generally a fan of heavy music.

bandmonolith.bandcamp.com

It pains me a little that emo has become a general, all-encompassing insult rather than a descriptive term for a certain sound. I'm fed up being recommended a band that's 'post-indie mixed with the style of Revolution Summer-era D.C. bands'.

I know people who are into deathcore that are big fans of Martyr Defiled. Maybe they're worth checking out?

I hate most deathcore. Most of it is really really bad. However there are a few exceptions:

The Red Chord
Glass Casket
The Contortionist
Born of Osiris (Newest album only)
Substructure
All Shall Perish

I'm sure I'm missing a couple more but that is all you really need.
