Probably the most anticipated for me. But seriously, Blah Ozzy, man has been taking credit for other people making his music for years. This is the return of the Iommi/Butler tandem

Off the top of my head: QOTSA, Black Dahlia Murder, Dillenger Escape Plan, Killswitch Engage, Shai Hulud and Ghost.

AMARANTHE - THE NEXUS

I about shit a brick when I read yesterday that they're released their second album in March.

Pretty stoked about Killswitch Engage's new project too. After seeing them live with Jesse, I feel the band might have been reborn. Back on the same great path they once were on. At least I hope so.

this news pleases me, last album was ok but I hate when a band has such an interesting, unique guitarist and drummer and then you have them play synths and loops for a whole album, first EP and Fever To Tell are still my favourite things theyve done.

Heard the new Nick Cave yesterday, sounds interesting, sparse and piano based, got a vibe of PJ Harvey's White Chalk album from it.

Re: Biggest anticipated future releases of 2013.

Fever to tell is amazing. Karen O is great, but I don't think her vocals complimented the structure of synth pop at all. She's always been an off the cuff Punk Rock chick, if you take her out of her element it just ends up sounding awkward and stands out like the big Elephant in the room. It's a bold move for them to go back to their roots since they got famous with It's Blitz!, but it's making me an excited camper.

Re: Biggest anticipated future releases of 2013.

exactly blarg, I always think of them as a noisy rock band. Me and some friends put them on in 2002 in a tiny venue that held 100 people, barely 40 turned up and the YYY still fucking ripped it up. Few years later and they were headlining the big festivals.

although on a quieter, more melodic tip the 41 strings thing Nick Zinner done a few years is really great
