Re: What's your favorite music documentary?

I would choose Michael Jackson's This Is It because I'm a biased Michael Jackson fan but that was kinda've a tour documentary + footage of him rehearsing before he died and it wasn't really a documentary on his life/career/legacy.

Lemmy document is best IMO, 100% pure badass and rock 'n' roll. Lemmy is truely the best person in this world.

Re: What's your favorite music documentary?

Just finished watching the documentary "Presspauseplay". Not sure is it's my favorite music doc, but it's awesome. Focuses on how digital information and music is affecting contemporary culture as an artform, and where it's headed in the future.

Rush - Beyond The Lighted Stage. Was great to learn even more about one of my all-time favorite bands.

Metallica - Some Kind Of Monster is very good, although a lot of it is just men shouting at each other.

Re: What's your favorite music documentary?

I don't think I've seen many music documentaries but The Decline of Western Civilization Part II is greatness. I wish we could've gotten more Lemmy, Ozzy, and Alice Cooper though. Still, it's an awesome time capsule of a documentary.

Same with the first Decline, but I prefer part II.

Re: What's your favorite music documentary?

I've never seen part III. It seems too damn depressing.

And LOL @ those poor bastards trying to make it in part II. They are just as fascinating as guys like Lemmy, but in a completely different way.
