Sad Songs/Saddest Song Ever Written
I've always loved sad songs, dunno why but they speak to me. I'm a proper sap when it comes to them. One that always gets me and I hate hearing when other people are around is Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton. If I listen to and think about the lyrics then it wells me up and I ain't afraid to say it.
Anybody else have a thing for sad songs? Hit me with them. Hit me really fucking hard. |

I define a sad song as one that stops me in my tracks every time I hear it. I remember being a little kid and hearing this performed at Princess Diana's funeral on television. The lyrics are quite possibly the most elegant I've ever heard.
