I actually prefer "The Same Deep Water as You" off the same album. The whole Disintegration album is depression rolled into beautiful music.

Listening to bands like Warning, Evoken, disEMBOWELMENT, Esoteric et al just leave me lifeless if I sit down and listen to them on headphones. Utterly entrancing though. Pat Walker sounds like he's just about to jack it all in.

Also, there's a folk/doom metal band called Uaral that writes sorrowful songs.

Such a brilliant song to close out Californication Season 4 and in the context of Hank's relationship with his family it was a truly heartbreaking song.
