80s stuff just aren't shown enough love. Sucks that I'm the only one that has nominated Public Enemy, Run DMC, Gang Starr and Geto Boys. Or only one other person has nominated anything by them.

I also forgot Main Source - Breaking Atoms. Definitely worth a nomination.

I dominated Public Enemy and Gang Starr albums, speaking of Gang Starr

Moment of Truth- Gang Starr
Method Man & Redman- Blackout (I'm surprised the love this is getting, I wasn't gonna nominate it because I figured I'd be the only one)
Scarface- The Fix
Busta Rhymes- The Coming
Busta Rhymes- When Disaster Strikes

I think that might be it from me

I agree with many of the albums already listed here. Just have a quick question - What is the general consensus on Kanye West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" album? I'm nominating it but when it was first released there were read several reviews that call it his magnum opus and his most ambitious production. I appreciated how concise the album felt from the first to the last track, like a big story oppose to a compilation of hit singles (and that can be great too). It just seems to me that people don't rave about this album as much as they did when it was first released.

808 was his most ambitious production imo. You either really love that album, or really hate it. I love it, Kanye's 3rd best album.

MBDTF just feels really overproduced to me, Runaway is 9 minutes long? Blame Game 8? I think he said something like he spent 5000 hours writing power which is probably bullshit, but still. it just feels like Kanye tried way too hard on that album.
