The gawd thinks Nas is the G.O.A.T., but let's be real, he's mad incosistent. He's got a ton of classics (Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic, Lost Tapes, Life Is Good in due time), but he's put out a LOT of whackness (Nastradamus, Untitled, HHID). It's that beat choice. But Nas always has up-periods. Em, on the other hand, started out mad strong with three dope albums in a row... Then Encore happened. Relapse was decent, but Recovery n Em's parts on Hell: The Sequel are straight trash.

Who would those be?
And considering this is all a matter of taste what exactly is there to "know"? Liking one artist over another doesnt make anybody here know more or less about Hip Hop.

Nah, there's plenty to know. I mean, that one kid voted for Eminem over Nas and hasn't even HEARD Illmatic. If you haven't heard an artists best album, then you don't know shit and shouldn't be voting.
I can guarantee quite a few people have heard very little from some of the rappers they voted against....in which case, they are uninformed aka don't know shit. |
