Intro: Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion primarily involving the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one's mouth, lips, tongue, and voice.
It may also involve singing, vocal imitation of turntablism, and the simulation of horns, strings, and other musical instruments.
Beatboxing today is connected with hip-hop culture, being one of "the elements", although it is not limited to hip-hop music. The term "beatboxing" is sometimes used to refer to vocal percussion in general.
I've been a beatboxing for approx 10 years now and still can't get enough. I do local live shows and recently did some festival performances over the summer with my latest project "Bedlam Beat Asylum".
My beatbox name is Bundwarr.
Anyway, enough about me.
I wanted to make this thread to discuss beatboxing, beatboxers and the culture in general.
Who are your favourites?
Who have you seen live?
I love these guys in no order: Rahzel, Killa Kela, Reeps One, ZeDe, KRNFX, Roxorloops, skiller, Hobbit.

Re: Official Beatbox Thread
I freestyle and write but mainly I just freestyle with friends I don't even want to pretend to be a "career rapper" but it's a passion of mine. I beatbox a bit but it's not my forte. I have a few very nice tunes though. I have Styles' P "Gangster and a Gentleman" down pat. Rahzel is of course that dude.
Fav of his when Wu and him cyphered.. legend-fucking-dary.
What about table beating? That was big back when. Probably still is in schools and such. I used to have a nice table top to that "Grindin'" song by Clipse.
