Lil Wayne irritates me, so no..I have no interest. I've heard some earlier stuff, where he was good at freestyling but hey Minaj use to be a some what alright freestyler but she sold out, just like he did. YMCMB/Auto tune is the Disco of the 2010's.
You let freestyles define who you think is good or not? Sigh, and what about any J.Cole/Krit albums?

And yeah I do, but ever since Hopsin blew up after IMOH4, most of the songs he's released have been corny and lame. You can't tell me you liked "Hop Madness", awful track. No progress on his 3rd album, just a lame. Mysonne did IMOH5 better than him btw

Speaking of Kendrick Lamar, the one thing that really disappointed me about his album is that there wasn't a Black Hippy collab are at least the other three members of Black Hippy weren't on his album.

The only member to get a feature was Jay Rock, but I'm guessing maybe it was a label issue with Schoolboy & Ab-Soul, I really don't know. But I would've love for them to have a song on there, ah well.

Hopsin is an up and coming INDEPENDENT music artist, he doesn't have the financial backing that a Kendrick Lamar would have with a Dr. Dre running everything.

Ludacris has always been a sell out. Busta Rhymes sold out a while ago, everyone knows that. He does songs with that woman beater now.

Yeah, the economy must have hit Raekwon really hard, that is all I have to say.

Again, Drake would have had high powered connections through appearing on Degrassi. You actually really think a cashed up record company would not sign a guy like Drake? of course they would, he is from Degrassi fame, became friends with Lil Wayne and he just a fake.

SELLOUT!!! In 2012!!??? LOLOLOL!

Yeah, you're not in "that phase" huh?

Fuck outta here. You stay writing those bullshit youtube comments huh?

Like Kendrick came in the game with a Dr. Dre cosign. He built up to that because he's GOOD. He earned his buzz.

Yes? Once you are a sellout you have no right to be on the artistic role call anymore. Ludacris and Busta Rhymes sold out aaages ago.

What the fuck? I never said Lamar got through JUST because of Dre..he just had the leisure of not getting fucked around like Hopsin with Ruthless Records...don't try put words in my mouth.

And no, I barley ever comment on Hip Hop related videos on Youtube.

What's your excuse for what Hopsin has done since Raw? All of the singles/songs he's dropped have been wack besides IMHO4 and 5. Album was pushed back too I think, does it even have a release date? I know he's been touring alot so props to him for that

I think Hopsin is still very new to the whole music world granted he has been around for a while but he is still just putting the pieces together in to finding his style and seeing where he can go from there, how he can attention through an independent record label etc. It's a whole combination of things. I personally think in the next year or two, you probably will see him blow up even more.

Yes! I remember I was on this basketball forum back in 08 and on the hip hop section everyone was sicing up Drake. I thought he was gonna be just your typical underground hype.. In retrospect, I wish he was

The main problem with Hopsin is that he NEVER changes his subject matter except once in a blue moon (on songs like Heather Nicole for example which is a good song). Look at his BET Cypher and than the XXL Freshman cypher, almost the same thing. When you listen to Hopsin, you can usually bank on it being one of these:

A. A Diss
B. How the industry sucks
C. The illuminati
D. How he's a loner
E. How "hip hop is dead" (One of the biggest myths ever)

It's the main reason Cassidy fell off too. Cassidy never changed his subject matter. Forever a punchline rapper with an occasional song for the ladies.
