Drake is a better rapper than Hopsin. Hopsin is nothing more than another corny, overrated underground rapper.

As for Kanye, I don't think it was fame as to why Kanye changed. I think it was the death of his mom. If you looked at his music and personality before his mom died compared to it after his mom died, its like a different person.

Come on man, be rational for a second.

There's rappers who have done much worse things that aren't really about that life but you choose to pick on Drake because he's an easy target. Drake rarely ever talks about fighting guys or other shit like that in his songs. Like I said before, the majority of his songs are about women and his lifestyle.
It's not even the whole "toughness" thing though from human to human..he is letting the fame go to his head. I mean come on, doing an Aaliyah album without even knowing her? It's just weird.

I know. Eminem done a 2pac album but his close friends and associates knew 2pac when he was alive, everything fell in to place.

Look, I just hope for Drake and all them other guys sakes, that they have saved up their money because the corporate giants who own the record companies will not give a shit about them in the 4 to 5 years.

Youtube is unbearable, all comments about Kanye are awful. "Can't wait until Kim breaks up with him so he can give us the best album ever", on par with the people who want Eminem to hit the drugs again just to satisfy them.

I agree with everything you said here, that Aaliyah album is a joke. No way it should happen. If it does, Timbo should have 100% of the control as well as Missy. And yeah, Drake will get fucked by YMCMB soon

Kanye is average at best. The first two albums he had were good but the fame started to go to his head and he started acting obnoxious.

Frank Ocean and Hopsin are the only two really good talents going today. All this Drake, Lil Wayne stuff will be looked back in 10 years time as a phase, very similar to the Nu Metal movement at the time which ended up being a flash in the pan, difference is..at least Nu Metal actually had some talented bands but it faded out quickly.

Cher called and she wants her auto tune back.
I was referring more to the "corporate douche bags" type of comments. And now you gave another one with.....Two good talents going today, huh? LOL. Yeah, that's indicative of that phase I'm talking about too, lol. "Fuck Nelly and Jay-Z and Cash Money! That Kweli is the real shit! It's all about the underground!". Wash, rinse, repeat, shit don't change, just the names do.

I don't fuck with Drake or Wayne at all, but really who cares? People have been saying the same kinds of things you are saying forever.

And let's not act like Kanye wasnt obnoxious from the beginning. He was always a cocky, goofball with asshole tendencies, he just went from the underdog to the favorite. You ever see his MTV punk'd episode when he was shooting Jesus Walks? LOL, that's obnoxious. Funny as hell too. He just got more somber/weird for a few years there when his mom passed.

YMCMB is like what Death Row was in the early to mid 1990's just without the talent that Death Row had. Snoop, Dre, 2pac, Kurrupt, Lady of Rage, Nate Dogg etc. Such an awesome talent roster.

Drake is not better than Hopsin. I hope that was just a joke.

I'd compare YMCMB to Bad Boy because Birdman/Slim are fucking over all of the artists like Diddy is/was

So.....how are they like Death Row then? I see no similarities, other than being a popular label.

Thing that set Death Row apart, particularly 94-95 Death Row was the producers they had access too. Not just Dre and Daz, but they had Quik in the fold then, they had Devante doing work, as well as a gang of others both credited and uncredited. The MUSIC on those records is just incredible in that run. Best non sample-based hip hop production ever.

Of course, because when a MC Hammer or Vanilla Ice hit it big back in the day and people though it was bullshit, they were so wrong by saying "Ice Cube is far better than MC Hammer" So what if people say the same statements as I do or if I say the exact same as others do?

You shouldn't have to be force fed talentless auto tune garbage. Gee, if it wasn't for any uprises in the music industry, we would not have gotten the likes of N.W.A or Tupac Shakur. You know there is nothing wrong with a revolt if its handled in a good manner?

Yes, Kanye has always been a bit of a douche, like when he got pissed off that the Black Eyed Peas won some Grammy Award and he didn't or something like that. Grammy's don't mean anything anyway so eh, don't know why he had to kick up so much of a fuss but hey, he has those moments.

YMCMB is just a phase and nothing more, I hope it is. You can only do so much with autotune and crappy rapping until the people start getting tired of the same old thing. Hence why a lot of the youth ha s turned to a Hopsin or Frank Ocean.

point is, there's always going to be commercial acts that a certain segment hates. That doesn't change, ever. Doesn't matter if YMCMB is just a phase, because a new phase will follow that's just as wack. It doesn't matter. Just don't listen if it sucks. Ain't nobody being force fed anything, especially in this day and age, it's incredibly easy to listen to only what you want to, and if you really think there's only two talented acts out there, I think you're a little too jaded for your own good. 2?? C'mon.

And let's not act like Pac and NWA are f'in Malcom and Martin, please. NWA's .....z5Life album, while dope production wise, was so ridiculously over the top and cartoonish. Yeah, what an important uprising for us....rap about girls who suck dick and swallow, and kill everyone in sight, with no rhyme or reason. That shit was more of a negative than positive.
