I mean it wouldn't be jealousy, Rozay stole his actual name.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

I'm excited for these last three months of 2012, as far as album releases go.

Kendrick's album dropping October 22nd, Meek Mill's album dropping October 30th, Wiz & Big Sean's albums dropping in December, I think A$AP's albums drops later this month, Wu-Block coming later this year, I think 9th Wonder has an album coming out later on...but yeah.

Should be interesting.

ROSS is more successful than Fifty?

Ross will never be on Fifty's level; success wise or lyrically. He's just a giant, fat fake turd.
I honestly don't understand why people still listen to Rick Ross when he got exposed as a fake & all his music sounds the same.

Yeah, the next 2 months are gonna be insane.

Wu-Block should be fire, A$AP and Kendrick Dropping. Just heard a track off RZA's new album and it's vintage Wu. Also can't sleep on Pac Div's GMB or Ghostface's new album.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

Does anyone know if some new Tupac stuff is coming out? It seems as though they have stopped releasing material where as like from 1997 to 2005, they released album after album.

Well, after 10 years and like 6-7 albums they probably ran out of material.

Yeah man, I personally think that they released all of that stuff way too fast. I couldn't stand all the duets on the last one that was brought out, it just felt weird with 2pac doing songs with T.I.

2pac's music is great though, it feels so timeless.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

New PAC material would be pointless IMO. We've heard it all by now....I'm not interested in hearing his scraps that was recorded in the same time as all his other music. It's not like he'd be saying anything we haven't heard from him already. And all the best stuff would have made the albums he actually put out, for the most part. The gems have already been unearthed.

And you know they'd change the beats and throw new rappers all over it like they already did a few times, which was just disgusting.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

To the posthumous albums' credit, quite a few Pac gems were released that he didn't come out with when he was alive. Changes, I Wonder if Heaven Got a Ghetto, Hellrazor, Until the End of Time, Do for Love and so on. Was Starin' Thru My Rear View also released after his death? If so, that's another one.
