LOL, no. A tongue twisting flow is coming with a complex flow and actually nailing it.

Ye was tripping over regular ass flows and sounding awkward as hell on CD. And where was he even trying to be complex or have a "tongue twisting flow"? I've seriously never heard that. He was basic as hell and still sounding awkward sometimes, IMO.

He was not the same MC, he was much improved on LR. Just from listening to Diamonds, you could hear the improvement in his flow and delivery.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

No there's no definition of a tongue-twisting flow, other than it's one that the average person would have a hard time rapping along to.

Diamonds From Sierra Leone is a fantastic song. My GOAT Kanye song. That beat knocks in my car and I don't even have subs yet.

LOL, K.

Kanye has never had a flow the "average person would have a hard time rapping along to".

Twista(original name....wait for it.....Tongue Twista), Treach, etc....rappers who often used "tongue-twisting flows".

Kanye was mad basic with his flow from the beginning, but still tripped up a lot in his early days. He sharpened that up quite a bit by LR.

I no longer have any idea what your point was, is, or will be.

You're confusing a choppa flow with a tongue-twisting flow.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

Choppa flow is just a fast rap.

Tongue-twister could be something like Kendrick's verse on the Recipe.

It seems the focus on Kanye's flow has long since been lost.

He was mad basic on CD. Still is, really. For the most part, always has been.

He wasn't tripping over himself because of complicated or tongue twisting flows, on CD. He was tripping over himself because he wasn't a very proficient rapper in terms of flow or delivery at the time. He's improved in that regard.

Let's stay on point.....do you disagree with this? And if so, you got examples?

Otherwise, I have to re-iterate, that I think "we're done here".
