Scrilla knows what's up if this song won't get you hooked on Ab-Soul, then there's no hope for you:

That Pusha/Raekwon/Ortiz song is fucking banging cant wait for that soundtrack to drop.

Good Music is pretty dope to half way through and so far no complaints, I had already heard most of the first half but that song "The Morning" is a sweet track.

The past few weeks have been dominated by news of Lupe Fiasco and Chief Keef's back-and-forth, culminating in Keef threatening to smack Lupe on Twitter. Now, in a recent video from Fake Shore Drive, it appears as if Lu has extended the olive branch to the budding Windy City rapper.

At a recent live show, Lupe Fiasco apologized to Chief Keef for his recent comments that he's afraid of "the culture that [Chief Keef] represents." He indicates that he's not in a position to judge another man, and at the end of the day, hopes Chief Keef will be successful in his career.

"I'm far from where I wanna be, I'm far from being a stand-up human being, I'm far from being a knowledgeable and wise young man as well," he said. "I'm somewhere in the middle. I ain't no saint, but with that said, I love my brother. I want to see him succeed and do his thing, and that goes for everybody anywhere everywhere in the world. Shout out to the big homie Chief Keef."

Not sure how to feel about this except I'm sure Keef will continue to be the ignorant, immature stereotype he's perpetuating and continue to diss Lupe.

Quick thoughts/Mini Review of Cruel Summer

1. To the World: This song grew on me, didn't like it at first but it's a nice intro.

2. Clique: Favorite song on the album, everything was on point. Even Big Sean who I usually don't like was hard here, and that Kim K sex tape line flew over my head like 6 times lol. Jay went off too, as always. Amazing beat

3. Mercy: Never liked this song, still don't

4. New God Flow: Pusha and Kanye did their thing, but Ghostface being here just makes the song 100x better

5. The Morning: Raekwon felt out of place here. He had a good verse, but he was rapping about completely different subject matter than everyone else. Still a good song, though.

6. Cold: Decent, nothing mind blowing

7. Higher: Again, decent. Nice to see Ma$e though.

8. Sin City: Really good track, Cyhi shines here

9. The One: Decent-below average, beat was nice, though.

10. Creepers: Great stuff from Cudi, haven't liked most of his recent stuff but this was solid

11. Bliss: Didn't really like this for some reason

12. I don't Like: Don't care what anyone says about this track, still a banger to me. Jada has been doing great on his features in 2012 lately, on Chosen Few he snapped. Shouldn't have been the outro though.

Overall: 8/10, I was "disappointed" but not to the degree of Blueprint 3/No Mercy/Battle of the Sexes. Still worth a listen with some great verses and there's replay value for me too.

Cyhi might upgrade from being Kanye's weed carrier. His mixtape was solid, and he was solid on the songs he was on here too. Impressed with him

Anyone else find it odd that Common was only on 1 track and Mos Def wasn't on any? The Wu and 2 Chainz got on there more than them, lol

I respect that Lupe is passionate and cares about all the violence and dumb shit going on. I don't necessarily agree with him here though.

I'm not saying he should beef with the little savage, or go back and forth.

But he also doesn't need to give false props and wish him success.....because it comes off fake. Why wish that little dumbass success? He's an idiot and he sucks and he's talking shit about you! Fuck him!

Personally, I'd leave it at, "he's a dumbass and his music sucks, but he's young and hopefully he'll smarten up with age and experience, and when he does we can have a conversation.....until then, he don't exist no matter how much he keeps my successful and relevant name in his mouth." Period.

Cruel Summer(dropping in Spetember!).....LOL, I knew Mos Def's flaky ass would be nowhere to be found. Common got a token feature it looks like, that dude ain't in the studio like that anymore. I knew those two wouldn't be grinding and putting in work on this.

We'll see if it's good, I've already heard like 3-4 songs....Mercy I loved. New God Flow I like quite a bit, until the ridiculous end "I don't know but I've been told" shit. Kanye needs someone to check him on doing unnecessary corny shit like that, that song was good otherwise. Clique was "eh" on first listen.

Gonna give the album a listen now. Hoping it sounds better than it "looks" going in.
