Has anyone bumped Xzibits new album yet (Napalm) ? It's getting good feedback so I'm going to give it a spin

Pure west coast music even if Pac was a bit 'above' it seeing how intelligent he was.

And Pac had not completely lost his mind in Death Row yet. He was working shit out to finish his contract and get out of the hell the east/west shit created. He was working on what, 3 albums? But he ended up getting killed before he had a chance. That also makes me think Suge was involved. How come none of the shots hit him and I heard he would owe Pac shitloads of money if he were to leave. Basically, Pac sold his soul to the devil and wanted it back after realizing his mistake.
as much as I hate Suge, he clearly has nothing to do with Pac's death

Southside Crips are the ones who killed Pac, they were hired by Puffy to snatch Pac's chain so that Biggie could shoot his next music video with it mocking Pac

when Pac found out that one of the Crips OGs was in the casino, he and the deathrow bunch jumped the fuck out of him, which resulted in the Crips getting revenge and killing Pac

but still , it kinda makes me wonder how things would've turned out if Eazy killed suge like he planned to

speaking of Pac and Eazy, check this mix out :

Just was listening to Kendrick Lamar, I swear this man is great, Has nice early works before he was famous (Listen to songs like Compton Chemistry), then has a great concept album in Section.80 and a story about his life in Good Kid M.aa.D. City, with an insane flow, and technical lyricism. Guy is going to be a legend. And just like Pac was the messiah for the streets, Lamar is going to be that for Compton. He's not only going to get guys out of Compton to seek a higher purpose in life, but he's going to inspire more good kids, I'm sure that there's plenty good kids out there, or even nerds, that are probably good at rapping but feel because they weren't born into a life of crime, they would have no chance to make it in the rap game. Now even though that's a bit different from Kendrick's story where he had people around him who were criminals, at the end of the day he still considers himself a good kid in a mad city.

Really surprised by how good Napalm is. Second favorite Xzibit album, even better than Man vs Machine honestly. Main problem was how bad the features were for the first half of the album. Game and Wiz only on the chorus (had verses later, though), E-40 sucked, P was average. Slim the Mobster on Stand Tall ripped it though. Some bad lines throughout here from X though like "it's a cold world, but I'm a polar bear"

Best Tracks:
1983 and the remix (Both are some of the best Xzibit tracks ever)
Louis XIII (sadly the only Dre beat on here)
Movies (everyone killed it)
Everything

Worst:
Napalm (What....the...Fuck?)
Up Out the Way

Overall: out of 5

See, I don't know TOO much about Kendrick. I've only heard a handful of tracks from both himself and Black Hippy, but I know he's good. I should probably dig more into this man.

Oh and FTR, if Pac had just worn the vest they suggested to him that he wear, he'd probably still be alive.

Game only sang a hook on Dos Equis
He had a verse on Movies, was pretty good

Wiz was the same, hook on Forever a G, verse on Enjoy the Night

I never cared for X. He was more enjoyable on Pimp My Ride. lol

Oh and while Pac discussion is still somewhat relevant for the time being, just gonna post best album order real quick.

Me Against The World
7 Day Theory
All Eyez On Me
Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.
2pacalypse Now

From MATW on he was a classic machine. AEOM is a deceiving 3rd spot.

I haven't either outside of Restless, Man vs Machine was good but it was pretty forgettable. Only standout tracks were My Name and Multiply.

Switch 7 Day Theory and MATW and that's mine

At the rate he was going, someone would have gotten him eventually. He was acting too reckless and going after people without thinking it through.

Yeah, I liked a few of his old singles, but he never had that appeal.

And those too are interchangeable. I just enjoy the message and theme of MATW more. It's more relateable. Hail Mary, Me and My Girlfriend, To Live And Die In LA, and Krazy are all amazing though. I don't really find any holes in MATW with the exception of like 2 songs (maybe 7 and 8 I think, not sure).

I don't know. If he lived through that he probably would have stepped security up or scaled his shit. He was reckless, but I think by that time, getting shot up TWICE, he would of wised up and toned it down. BUT, it is Pac. He wasn't gonna be anyone's bitch so there's also a good chance he would have just got more pissed off.

I should get more into Pac's posthumous material. This shit goes HARD. The beat is sinister as fuck. Was likely recorded during his Death Row days.

Random edit -

2:46 - Stone Cold Stunner Found that hilarious. Love BH.
