Also a question in regards to that "a star is born track"
Is jayz shouting everyone out, but auctually giving them a thinly vield backhanded compliment in the process?
Like he gives props to everyone, but then rates himself above them?
I dunno, maybe I'm just misinterpreting it.
I still rate the song.
A question in regards to your posting habits......
how come you post in this thread like once every three months, yet you red-rep me like every week?
You really sit back red-repping people in a thread you don't even participate in? Get some hobbies, mu'fucka.
Speaking of Death Row, came across this on YouTube, my first time seeing it. Death Row was stacked back in the day.
Dj Quik killed it , MC Eiht was so pissed that tried to go up to the stage but security stopped him
even tho they weren't the realest , but you gotta admit Deathrow's roster was the best in the mid-90's , before the biggie/pac bullshit

Bad Boy sucks. All they ever had was Craig Mack at first then Biggie. As poppy as it gets and they were the polar opposite of Death Row despite the fact that both made party music at the end of the day.
Favorite label for me is by far Rap-A-Lot. They were so dope from 89-96. Just good music supplied left and right every year during the golden ages.

Nah. The Lox was dope. Mase had talent, his first album had its moments. And quiet as kept, Black Rob and G Dep's albums were good too.
And we're talking rap, but on the R&B side, Faith Evans, 112, and Carl Thomas all made some good music too. Total even had a few cuts.
The only thing keeping Bad Boy a float was Biggie and some of Puffy's beats. That's it.
He's been trying to duplicate that success since. How many flops has the guy signed? The only real selling piece he managed to acquire he sent to jail for 10 years.
Which I'm bitter about to because jail fucked Shyne up. What a waste.
In Bad Boy's defence though, Deathrow also crumbled without Pac and Dre.
