I think it will sell. If J. Cole, Mac Miller & 2 Chainz's albums can all sell then I have no doubt that Kendrick can sell.

Look at the names you just mentioned, J.Cole, Mac Miller, 2 Chainz, All have a big mainstream fanbase. Kendrick for the most part is still a no name.

Kendrick's fanbase is comparable to Cole's at the time of the release of his debut album.

He also has a bigger fanbase than Mac had at the time.

I don't see the album selling well honestly.
I don't agree on either point. He's steadily built a fanbase without Lady Gaga. He doesn't need her. And it won't matter anyway. Wale had a Lady Gaga feature on his first album.....it didn't do shit for him. And the song was wack.

The Gaga feature only helps if the song is dope.

And I think it will sell well. He's built a pretty good buzz. If KRIT and Curren$y both debuted top 10, Kendrick will too. And if Kendrick makes a hit, which he's capable of, his album will have more legs than theirs did.

Skyzoo - A Dream Deferred.......this is a really good album. Solid beats, good rapping.....liking this a lot.

I've long thought Skyzoo had skills and potential, this is the best I've heard from him.

Don't remember him being mentioned here much but those of you who listen to Little Brother probably know him as hes done songs with them and has been working with 9th Wonder for a long time.

I thought about checking for that Skyzoo album but his beats are so fucking awful, The Salvation was a great example of it. The lyrics were there, beats? Not so much, is this one any different?

honestly , Dre is one of the greatest producers of all time if not the greatest , however as a rapper , the guy has no presence

even in his deathrow days , anytime he was in a track or a video with Snoop or DPG , It's always Snoop or Kurrupt's part that i'm waiting for , I feel as if Dre is rapping just to fill in the track

he's just not one of the interesting figures , there isn't anything unique about his rapping , however he's a legendary producer

Production is solid, album is dope. It's better than the Salvation, though I wouldn't say the beats were awful on that.

There's probably like 10 Dre songs I like.

Let Me Ride, Still D.R.E, Forgot About Dre, The Next Episode, Nuthin' but a G Thang, Keep Their Heads Ringin...ummm...yeah that's it. And I only like Keep Their Heads Ringin for the beat and chorus, Nuthin' but a G Thang because of Snoop's verses, Next Episode because of Nate and the beat and Forgot About Dre because of Em and the beat.

So yeah, definitely not a Dre fan as far his rapping goes, his production on the other hand is another story. But I like the headphones though.
