Of course it's someone's choice to listen to the radio. But it isn't someone's choice over what gets played on the radio.

You're not understanding. For many people, the radio is how they find new music. They hear a new artist on the radio, search them on Youtube, and then all the related videos are more songs from that artist and acts associated with them. Someone could hear one Lil Wayne song on the radio, search him up on Youtube, and then by association come upon, say, Nicki Minaj. Then from Nicki they find Tyga and from Tyga they find Rick Ross and from Ross they find 2 Chainz and from 2 Chainz they find Meek Mill and so on and so forth. How many times you think that path causes them to stumble upon KRIT, Joey Bada$$, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, etc. Radio has a big influence, even in today's age.

On another note:

Don't know what to expect from Em's album later this year.

Recovery was an ok album, he did good on the Bad Meets Evil album but I don't know if he still has "it" enough to carry a great solo album at this point in his career.

for Eminem & Big Sean, arguably two of the corniest artists right now? Fuck no, when was the last time Eminem worked with anyone from Detroit besides Royce/Big Sean? Trick Trick? That awful "verse" on Obie's album doesn't count. Give me Eminem Feat. Black Milk Danny Brown & Elzhi instead of Eminem Feat. Royce & Big Sean

Em's always been corny.

But now he's not only corny, he's dropping garbage. I can't remember the last time he dropped something dope, Shady 2.0 Cypher? Recovery was a 6/10 and Royce shit on him every song on Hell: The Sequel. He nearly ruined Slaughterhouse, and is dropping mediocre verses left and right.

The sad part is. Em's album will probably suck and he'll probably still go close to platinum in a week and his fans will act like the shit is good.

Em is pretty similar to Lil Wayne at this point with that description.

Eminem's sales are legit at least, there's no way Birdman didn't buy at least 1/3 of TC4 week one sales. Look at IAMAB2, and don't give me that "it isn't called The Carter, so that's why it was lower" shit.

I know Em's sales are legit and I fully believe that Tha Carter IV didn't really sell that much.

There's no way. Tha Carter IV leaked like 3 weeks before it came out and didn't have a lot of hype to begin with, at least not Carter III hype and he sells over 900k in the 1st week? I call bullshit. Birdman bought that shit.

Birdman bought 333,000 copies of an album?
