What do you all think of the XXL freshmen cyphers so far? Dizzy Wright killed it imo, everyone else has been ok except Travis Scott and Kirko Bangz who blow dick

Listened to the Minstrel Show last night.....such a classic album. I absolutely loved it at the time, and played the hell out of it. It was easily my favorite album of 2005. But I believe time has to pass before you can decide if a album is a true classic that goes up there with the best.......and enough time has passed for me to put this way up there with the EPMD's, Tribe's, De La's, Outkast's, Wu etc.'s classic albums. Phonte's last verse on Slow it Down is so real.

Listened to that album yesterday, definitely one of my favorites ever.

Hiding Place remains to be my favorite LB song and has become one of my favorite songs ever. I rank We Got Now 2nd from the album.

I don't even know if I could pick a favorite, but Hiding Place is definitely way up there. Everything about that is perfect. Hiding Place and Watch Me would probably be my top 2. Slow it Down, All For You, Beautiful Morning are all up there.

But really, every song is quality, the skits are funny, Cheatin' was hilarious....I love that album.

It's just a great album.

But on another note, can't say I'm really surprised but irritated that TMZ and probably some other media too soon are trying to blame hip-hop for those guys who did the Boston bombings. Since one of those guys was apparently a big hip-hop fan, used to post on hip-hop forums and used to always tweet rap lyrics. They're trying to say the violent rap music played a part in influencing him to do what he did.

It's so stupid that every time one of those crazy ass people snaps and does something insane, the media is always trying to put some blame on rap music, rock music, video games, movies, just anything entertainment. But whatever.
