Y'know, the more I think about it, the more I'm realizing that southern hip-hop might be my favorite style. I like more east coast rappers than I do southern, but when it's done well, it's done WELL. Don't get me wrong, I listen to hip-hop from every region, but man, sometimes nothing does it for me quite like some Outkast, UGK or Big K.R.I.T.

I'm on the fence about Tyler. A lot of his stuff is really creative, sonically and conceptually, and I really like his style of horrorcore (altho it's pretty mild). Guys like Slaine, I can't get into because they just come off as tryhards, whereas Tyler doesn't take himself very seriously. It's just him saying whatever fucked-up shit that sounds funny to him, which is a refreshing change from all these angry white people trying to convince us that they're actually serial killers.
However, I have some problems with him. With the exception of maybe 1 or 2 tracks, I hated Goblin. Bitch Suck Dick in particular is a prime example of another issue of mine; yeah, it's meant to be sarcastic, and it's pretty funny... But it's still not a good song. I feel like the jokes/gimmicks sometimes overtake the music. I haven't had a chance to listen to Wolf yet tho, and I'm kinda hyped to do so, based on what I've heard about it.
