Lol. I've been one of the main people in here defending guys who make party songs. I don't like Problems, I think it's a shit song with a shit chorus, shit lyrics and a shit beat.

Once again, just because something can be played at parties doesn't make it immune from being terrible. I guess you guys thought Crank That Soulja Boy was the shit too huh?

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

Doctors Advocate isn't a classic, it's more of a west coast album than The Doc and that's the only thing it has over it. Have no idea when people say The Doc has no replay value or didn't age well, still get's plays today. The only track off DA I still play now is Wouldn't Get Far. And I don't care if Game retires at this point.
LAX was good, doesn't deserve the hate it gets.
R.E.D. sucked. That second half of the album is some of the worst music I've heard
Jesus Piece was great at first, but a few days later I deleted it off my Itunes and haven't listened to a song off it since
Don't remember him killing any features in recent memory
Don't care about any his mixtapes

No, it's just that you expect party songs to be super lyrical, One Mic, type music. The chorus is catchy, the lyrics are catchy, the beat is catchy, All what makes a good party song.

R.E.D. should've been his peak album, like his own version of the Black Album

R.E.D. sucked, look at that tracklist and the features. He couldn't even break 100k first week with that lineup, I would have retired out of sheer shame. He was clowning 50 Cent too for his first week sales, and it turns out BISD almost doubled R.E.D.s sales.

What the fuck are you talking about? No I don't expect party songs to be lyrical I expect them to be something I enjoy. I don't like the song. I like Bands A Make Her Dance, I like Don't Like, I like Love Sosa, I like Same Damn Time, I like The Motto, I like Rack City. The list goes on and on. I don't like Problems. That's it. I think it's a shitty song.

I prefer all those over Problems. I don't like the song Problems and I think it's A$AP Rocky's worst song. Get the fuck over it.

"Girl I know you want DIS DIH" is the line that everyone knows at the party and shouts out. its pretty awesome when a party full of people say it at the same time lol

Yeah I liked that line, but I'm just not a fan of the song.

When it's played at parties, it's something different. Any song can be enjoyable with girls twerking. Doesn't make it a good song in my book.
