Maybe.
I think I'm one of the few people on the planet that wasn't disappointed with Live From The Underground. I mean, I don't really have any interest in listening to 'Yeah Dats Me' at any point (although if that came on in my car I'd usually turn the volume way up and roll the windows down like a first class prick...mostly just to see the reaction of some people), and there's songs that I kind of need to be in a specific mood in order to enjoy/not skip, but on the whole I like it a lot. Title track (I'm a mark for harmonicas), 'Cool 2 Be Southern', 'Don't Let Me Down', Hydroplaning', 'If I Fall', 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad', 'Praying Man' and the outro (more harmonicas) are all songs that I like a lot.

Forgot to mention If I Fall, I like that song a lot.
Songs like Live From The Underground(love the humming!) and Cool to Be Southern are pretty good songs, there's nothing wrong with them really. Musically, they are strong. I just never feel like listening to them. I guess because he's not really saying shit on them, and the hooks are pretty bland/non-existant.
I mean, I still like the album. But to me, it's 4th out of his 4 main albums/mixtapes. It's good, but he can do better IMO.

Honestly, I don't even know if I'd disagree with that (any of it, but the bolded part specifically). I mean, I was pretty late to the party on KRIT and actually listened to Live from the Underground before I heard K.R.I.T. Wuz Here and Return of 4Eva...I don't know, maybe if it was the other way around I'd have been disappointed as well.

Yeah, I really became a big fan of KRIT like last spring.
I knew of him and liked some songs before. Like I remember when the Dreaming video was out and watching it on youtube, really loved that song and video, and then The Vent. And I remember the joint he did over the 93 Til Infinity Beat. Money on The Floor came out and I wanted to buy the album.......and I realized it wasn't out yet.....and wouldn't come out for while. And then he was on Phonte and The Roots albums.
So I'd listened to some of his songs and knew of him and liked him.....didn't check out a full length until ForeverN A Day came out last spring, and then I was all in. Was heavily anticipating his album, and some time around then I went back and downloaded KRIT Wuz Here and Returnof4Eva and loved them too though I'd already heard a few songs off each.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
I think I first heard him on CunninLynguists' 'Murder (Act II)' a couple years ago, but I definitely wasn't checking for him at that point and I probably had no idea who he was at the time. I liked his verse enough to look him up, though. Read about him in XXL's freshmen of the year thing they'd run as well, but for whatever reason I never wound up really checking him out until last year.
Totally forgot he was even on Undun. Charity Starts at Home is maybe a top 3 hip-hop album of 2011...and I had no recollection of him being on it. I would've realised the next time I listened to that album, but until you mentioned it there I honestly didn't remember him being on it.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
I first heard on KRIT in early 2011 around the time Return of 4Eva came out. I was on YouTube searching for some video that I can't remember, and you know how people tag stuff in videos to get more views that has nothing to do with the actual video? Well that's what happened, I came across a video for the remix to Country Shit with Ludacris and Bun B. And me being a big Bun B fan, as well as a fan of Luda, I clicked on the video and that's how it all got started. I downloaded Return of 4Eva and thought it was so dope, Dreamin' and American Rapstar were my favorite tracks. A couple days later I downloaded K.R.I.T. Wuz Here and it was even better than Return of 4Eva which really made my a die-hard KRIT fan. Just Touched Down is still my favorite KRIT song, followed by Boobie Miles and Dreamin.

Just curious as to what are some of your guys' favorite hooks? Past or present.
