Maybe it's just me being from the south but I don't have a problem with rappers like Waka or 2 Chainz or to an extent, Chief Keef. Well I think Keef is an ignorant shithead but as far as their music goes, I don't really mind their rapping style. They play their roles. Not everyone is gonna be a lyrical rapper or punchline guy. You need guys to make songs you can get hype to and play at clubs/parties. And those guys fill their roles. Which is why I don't consider their music terrible.

Took me a while to accept this. I fucking HATED guys like Waka and 2 Chainz for the longest time. If you didn't obtain critical acclaim, I didn't really fuck with you.

People hate on rappers that don't fit their mold. If every rapper fit a certain model, there would be no diversity. There would be no evolution. Rap would be dead.
