Just look at Jay-Z's Takeover diss.....calling it "eh". He was wrong, but he wasn't the only one who thought that.

I Am and Street's Disciple are at least half dope to me. I Am had a few bad songs, and a few where the lyrics were there but the beats weren't. SD was just too long, classic double album problem. Put 20+ songs on an album, and there's bound to be some weak songs.

Untitled was really good to me.

I meant right now, it's consensus. Only Stillmatic and Illmatic can be argued as better imo.

Agreed on I am, and also on SD. Is there any really good double album besides LAD and All Eyez on me? And Untitled wasn't bad, it was like a 6.5-7 to me. Better than SD/I Am/Nastradamus though.

I think All Eyez On Me has the same problem.....there's a lot of filler, especially on disc 2.

Wu Tang and UGK's double albums were good.

It's pretty crazy how 2pac was only getting better like just when he passed away with tracks like Hail Mary, Changes, Unconditional Love, Until the end of time etc.

I prefer Me Against The World over All Eyez On Me. All Eyez On Me has some good tracks like 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted, How Do U Want It, Heartz of Men, Can't C Me etc. It's kind of eh that the original version of California Love isn't on All Eyez On Me.

Pac was 25 when he died. He still had plenty of time to develop. Give him 5 more years.

Underground Kingz is the best double album I've ever heard. Two discs but very little filler. Although All Eyez on Me is very close. Only filler is "Whatz Ya Phone #". Disc 2 is full of dope party jams. Thug Passion, Check Out Time, Run tha Streetz, Rather Be Ya N.I.G.G.A and etc may not be popular but they are good for what they are. Specially Check Out Time which is out of this world IMO.

Yep. Underground Kingz is one of my top 10 favorite albums ever. So many bangers on there: International Players Anthem, Swishas & Dosha, Gravy, The Game Belongs to Me, Trill Niggas Don't Die, just to name a few. It's between INPA & Gravy as to which one is my fav.

It's a great album but I still prefer Ridin Dirty.

Heaven, Shattered Dreams and Quit Hatin' the South are my favorites there. I also love the modernized version of Too $hort's classic, Life Is 2009. And Livin' This Life is one of the deepest songs I've heard. Specially considering the fact that Pimp C died shortly after the release. I remember the day it happened, I listened to Big Pimpin' and thought "Damn, it happened at Jay-Z's birthday".

Exactly, and that is what my point was. It's scary to even think of how much more awesome stuff he would have come out with, I wonder if Pac stayed alive if Eminem would have ever have broken out though? Because to me, it feels like Eminem filled the void that 2pac left.

No, Eminem is still a different artist then 2Pac was in terms of flow, and subject matter. He would've still made it because of the fact that he's white.

I can't think of ONE way in which Pac and Eminem are/were alike. They didn't rap about any of the same stuff, they sound nothing alike, their style is nothing alike.
