@Ether: No love for Pilot Talk II or Weekend at Burnie's?
Weekend At Burnie's is toooooooooooo laid back for me, and all of the features on there were garbage
Pilot Talk II is good, but that's it. Only track I played twice was the Michael Knight remix

Weekend at Burnie's has some bangers on there though: #JetsGo, She Don't Want a Man, Still, Money Machine, Televised, Alive. Some good tracks, but I agree on it being laid back.

As for Pilot Talk II, no love for Airborne Aquarium? Curren$y's best song IMO.

Yeah that was the intro right? I liked that track & the Michael Knight remix, but everything else was forgettable imo. My favorite Curren$y tracks atm are:
Mary
Biscayne Bay
Jet Life
Audio Dope 3
No Squares (don't know why honestly)
Scottie Pippen (GIBBS)
Double 07
The Day
Michael Knight Remix

No order, HM to Chilled Coughee. That beat is addicting, I'll give Pilot Talk II another listen sometime tonight.

And I assume neither of those Jet Life tapes are worth checking out? They're all pretty wack to me anyway besides DZA, and Corner Boy P is decent. DZA actually got Curren$y on "Mirrors" too

The Jet Life tapes are essentially a joint album by Trademark & Roddy with a two-three features from Curren$y, DZA and Cornerboy P.

I've still yet to listen to the second one, but the first one has some nice songs. It's a solid album. Worth checking out.

Have you listened to any of Smoke DZA's solo stuff? If not, you need to check out Rolling Stoned.

Verde Terrace was another good (free) Curren$y project. It's crazy how much dope shit he's put out for free. He always gets good production, is versatile enough to sound good over damn near anything, and just keeps dropping good material.

Covert Coup is also my favorite, and agreed on Cigarette Boats....if it was longer it might be my favorite.

He puts out two mixtapes and two albums every year. And they're all usually good. One of the most consistent rappers out there.
