Nothing too special. It's AIIIIGHT.
You guys are over exaggerating. Capitol Steez who is a much better rapper than Ross comitted suicide and he didn't get the BIG/Pac treatment. BIG & Pac got special treatment because they were being considered some of the best when they were alive.

Yes because Capital Steez was as big in the rap game as Rick Ross is...

Still, Biggie & Pac didn't get special treatment just because of their starpower either.

Sure they did. Not to say they weren't great rappers but you're delusional if you think them being as huge as they were didn't play a significant part in their posthumous glorification and success.

If Ross died in that "shooting", you best believe his discography would've became overrated, just like every rapper that dies when they're big in the game.

Yes but its a combination of both. Rebecca Black turned into a big star in 011, over one Youtube vid but if she died she wouldn't be considered a GOAT singer.

I've really gotten into Spitta lately, I listened to his whole discography. Out of all of it, I kept:
New Jet City
Priest Andretti
The Stoned Immaculate
Cigarette Boats
Covert Coup
Pilot Talk

On my Ipod, before a week ago the only album I listened to in full was The Stoned Immaculate. Saw New Jet City on datpiff, loved it (Mary already has 45 plays), and started listening to him more. Covert Coup is my favorite joint though, Cigarette Boats would be if it was longer. Biscayne Bay is a top 5 Curren$y track.

Except Ross isn't a YouTube one-hit wonder like Rebecca Black and he isn't with all due respect, an irrelevant underground rapper like Capital Steez was.

Ross has been one of the most popular rappers in the game for the the last 6 years. If you think his discography wouldn't be overrated by people if he died in that shooting then I don't know what to tell you.

@Ether: No love for Pilot Talk II or Weekend at Burnie's?

Just saying, alot of people don't like Ross as it is. Doubt they would feel any different even if he died.

A lot of rap fans on the internet don't like Rick Ross. Ross is very liked in the rap game overall. You don't sell over 200,000 units in the first week on your album if no one likes you.
