GKMC: The Film would be much better if they fit the bonus tracts into the storyline and actually added things that weren't in the album. (If they go with just the story on the album we're looking at a short movie). The theme of Black Boy Fly could inspire Kendrick to do something with his life. Just imagine a cameo with Game showing up at Centennial to watch a basketball game and Kendrick is just thinking his head (as narration) At that moment, I knew, I had to get out the hood or even Dre as he leaves the school just go up to some kid that happens to be Kendrick and says to him Keep your dreams up. forshadowing their relationship.

What it is, to me, is annoying. Everything about him puts me off.

To my knowledge, he's never sold an illegal substance in his life. He literally stole his entire persona from the real drug pushing Rick Ross. It's been proven he's 110% fraudulent in everything he says. It's just fucking hilarious when someone talks about breaking the law and being a thug when they themselves were at one point disciplining/handling the same types of criminals you claim to be like. He's a joke and his music sucks.

Not exactly a menacing figure.

Whatever that's your problem. I enjoy his music for what it is.

You say to your knowledge but I mean this as no disrepect but your knowledge only goes to as far as what you were able to learn from the internet. All it's been proven is that he's a C.O. No one knows if that as a C.O. he was getting drugs into the prison or using a C.O. as a job cover up while he was selling drugs behind the scenes (something many cops used to do).

I understand that completely and I knew someone was gonna bring that up.

But Ross is a buffoon.

That's not even my issue with Ross. Who he is only adds to the reasons why he irks the living fuck out of me. His music just sucks, flat out. Some people like it though and that's cool.

He's the only rapper that doesn't have one album, song, or even verse that I enjoy.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

There are PLENTY of C.O.s in the D.O.C. that are just as crooked, grimy, slimy and as deserving to be in cells as the people they are watching over. Not to say that Rick was one of them, but word on the street is that he was indeed in good with the Boobie Boys [a local gang in Miami] and may have been involved with drugs. Whether or not that makes someone real or not? Is beyond ridiculous. There's realer motherfuckers struggling to make ends meet and doing it the right way than most of these rappers who are really some fucking cornballs with catchphrases that generate revenue.

In fact I would assume a very large portion of the rap game is indeed soft as cotton. Especially now. Baby bottom soft baby backed mf'ers. Look at most of 'em. Most rappers are feeble in physical stature and are just good at talking shit. But that's not why anyone should or shouldn't be listening to somebody.

If you don't agree with someone's lifestyle or thinking then don't fuck with them otherwise it's up in the air with the who's real who's fake shit. All we know is rumors. It's not like we're in the circle that these fools are in.

You wanna talk real though? Go read the FBI file on Russell Jones. The realest dude in the history of it all.

Not saying those are admirable traits, but if you're going to make claims you better be able to back it up if someone pulls your card. I just don't like posers.

Dude 2Pac grew up in the ghetto. Just because he went to arts school, doesn't mean he wasn't in the streets. His mom was a cocaine addict who was a single parent. Doubt they were living decent. People cared about the guy and had one of the largest fanbases in history.
