Chief Keef is loser though. Like you said, he sucks in every way as a rapper. He's only popular because he spit over a few hot beats and the "realness factor", which he got from laughing at dead kids on twitter. So fuck him, he can't rap and he's got no redeeming qualities as a person. And fuck the adults at his record label for clapping to that shit, he need guidance, not a $$$ co-sign for acting like a savage.

"I Don't Like" is heat, but yeah, I agree with everything you said. Why is this fuckin kid famous when we have Waka Flocka doing what he does, except better than he can ever hope to?

I really don't know what's going on with all these new rappers from Chicago. They're all frauds, they're all terrible rappers, I really don't see why they're getting the shine they're getting. It's a sad state of affairs.

I don't know. As terrible as Keef is as rapping that doesn't mean he isn't a Black Disciple who's murdered people.

He probably has shot someone before, not denying that.
I agree with the statement of him being a poor man's Waka Flocka.

Maybe. It's sad that's why he's gotten over though.
I mean, Snoop had the same so called" realness", the accessory to murder charge, the image that he was really a gangbanger from Long Beach.....but he could rap! He had talent and skills!
Same with 50, he had all that violent BS going on but he had good records out! Like him or not you couldn't front on him, he had some talent to back it up.
This Chief Keef clown doesn't. He's a horrible rapper, and that's no exaggeration.

Yeah, I'm not sure what it is about Keef. He has such a fuckin cult following, it's insane. The guy isn't even very good in his own lane.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
It's sad. Keef has developed a cult following just because he has a reputation of being "about that life" despite the fact that he has no talent whatsoever.
And he's not even an adult, Chief Keef is only like 16 or 17 years old.

Because he's the "dangerous rapper" so dumb, insecure kids who think they're hard or want to ride for who is hard like him, and annoying hipster pussies who think he's the new edgy rapper like it.
Nobody who knows or gives a damn about the music likes his shit.
I blame the record labels just as much, that shit is deplorable. Any other line of work if someone pulls the shit he did, they'd be fired or get no push. This kid laughs at dead kids on twitter, and it's GOOD for his career. Disgusting.

He has nice bangers (no pun intended), that's all. A poor man's Waka.
Thing is with all these rappers, is people fail to realise no one would be checking for Wayne, Keef, 2Chainz, etc if they were rapping the same but everyday people on the street. It's only because they're famous and their voice is put over a hot beat with a nice hook that people think they're good.

One of the things that pissed me off is when he went out and dissed Kanye in some interview right around the time he was starting to blow up. It irritated me because if it wasn't for Kanye making the remix to Don't Like, Chief Keef is nowhere near where he is right now. Kanye pretty much made his career what it is today and that ungrateful ass kid showed no respect whatsoever. Because no one was really checking for Chief Keef outside of the Southside of Chicago before Kanye jumped on that track.

Wayne has actual talent and skills though. As bad as the Dedication 4 was, it's still better than anything Chief Keef has ever and probably will ever put out. Same with 2 Chainz, he may not be the most lyrical guy, but he at least he has charisma and a good delivery/flow, plus 2 Chainz also has a couple nice verses. He's better than Chief Keef.
LB pretty much summed up the Chief Keef fans perfectly.
